Who is your favorite character in the Hunger Games and why?

Clove. Yes she's not exactly right in the head. Yes she's a trained killer but look at her past. In the book Katniss tells us that careers are trained and then volunteer. In the movie she is shown at the smallest career. In her final moments though she and Cato prove they aren't just monsters. I really loved her for this because she showed that people aren't just one sided and I felt horrible when that happened in the book because everyone loves rue because she was so small and felt so touched by her death but what about Clove. Clove was just a little girl too. Not as little but she was still a child! Everything that happened to her was wrong and she is sort of like even greater proof of the twisted inhumanity of the games. Rue she was innocent and lovable. Clove they mutilated her before she even got in the games.
That's why I love her. Yes I love Rue and anytime during this that I may have been cruel to her was not intentional because she's like my second or third favorite!

I really like Katniss she`s a great role model and shes so strong and brave and she fights for what she believes in... but Peeta is soooo cute haha!!!:)

I really like Finnick but I also liked Gale. I can't choose.

I really like Haymitch's attitude and actions durring the series but Finnick is so hot and brave!

I have many fav characters of the hungergames(Katniss,Peeta, Gale, Cinna, Cato, Marvel, Finnick, and Haymitch.

Peeta Mellark because he always put katnisses life infront of his like at the end of the hunger games he tells katniss to kill him instead of her !!!! I LOVE PEETA :)

Among A LOT of others, probably President Snow. (hides from angry mob) Now, I know about all the horrible stuff he caused the districts to go through, he's a mean man, omg he killed Rue, etc. But, in my mind, he's the perfect antagonist, and, in a sense, an ideal serial killer (which, admittedly, I'm obsessed over (which is something a teenage girl shouldn't be obsessed about)). He had charisma, charm, and killed off his competition by taking the same poison they did. It took decades before he was finally taken down from his spot in the Capitol. And the fact that he was laughing, blood pooling out his mouth as he was trampled to death just added to it.
I know I'm insane. I have embraced that fact, and use it to my advantage. Let the hate comments begin!

CATO ALL THE WAY! I LOVE him SO much! His face, courage and how he finally asked Katniss to help and kill him in The Hunger Games! I LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE HIM!

my favorite character is glimmer, rue, katniss, and peeta why i chose them because my personality is like glimmers because i can be girly and tough at the same time rue katniss because she is tough and peeta because he is cute (peetas is not reasonable) rue (shes pretty not reasonable either

Hmmm... I know mine isn't all that unique but I just love Katniss. She's just everything a girl should be... I mean she volunteers herself for her sister for the games and not only does she win them but she defies all odds and starts a revolution for the districts. (By accident, which makes it even better.) Of course she makes some mistakes along the way but who doesn't. In my opinion she is exactly the kind of person who everyone can root for.

Katniss. She is amazing, theres no other way to describe her.

Haymitch because he's just so great!

Peeta because he's really caring and good in art

My favorite charcter is Marvel because he is played by jack quaid and i love marvels personality( i read the hunger games wiki) plus he killed rue, i didn't like rue but i loved amandla stenberg, amandla is an amazing actress, and i love clove too

Rue all the way, i CRIED when the bit when she died came up.in movie i pused just before.i cant do this!!!!!

Definitely Finnick because he is simultaneously lovable, fascinating, and multi-layered. I have a huge man-crush on him. Peeta would be my second because he is just so nice it's impossible not to love him.

I very much like Foxface. She's sly and clever, and I really like the way she stays in the background, and never kills somebody.
But I very much like a lot of characters in The Hunger Games, because they stick with you, even if they die. Rue, Cinna, and Thresh are a few examples of these.
But I also feel bad for a lot of unnamed tributes, especially district 9 tributes because all four of their tributes (74th + 75th) die at the Cornucopia, so either their victors are stupid (for saying they should go for it), or they were taught nothing about survival (I mean, GRAIN!).
