The meaning of the song “Human” by the Killers
The song isn’t saying he wants to be a dancer or that dancers aren’t human. A lot of people seem to think that, another thing people get confused about is the words. It’s “Are we human or are we dancer?” no s. It’s not supposed to have an s.
Human means “Free thinker”. So is you are human you can think for yourself, you don’t have to be a mindless puppet and can be your own person.
You can interpret the dancer part two different ways. You can interpret it as a puppet dancing while someone else...

***I would not recomend friend requesting the Facebook pages that do not have "accepting friend requests" beside them.
All that means is that they were accepting requests from fans at one point. The only person I am sure is still acceptinng friend requests is Mark.

Here is a series of letters addressed to The Killers that I found of a fan forum. I would have linked them, but you need an account to view anything, and the site has been inactive for almost 2 years, so this is just more convenient.

Hi there, everyone.
The Killers are a great band, did you know? I think it would be appropriate for us to have a list of every single bit of music that has ever come from the mouthes, hearts, and bodies of these wonderful musicians.
It is very possible that I’ll miss something, so please feel free to leave a comment with something you’d like to see added to this list. We want it to be as complete as possible.
Andy lives in a small, quaint town that nobody has ever heard of. A town where nothing ever goes wrong, but nothing ever goes great either. Andy lives in a town where nothing ever happens. For so long, he followed this current, not knowing anything else.
Some months ago, I was litsening to my Ipod and got inspired to write a story where each chapter is inspired to a different Killers’ song. I’ve so far only completed three chapters (almost a fourth) because I lost interest a while back. Last night, listening to what I have of Flamingo inspired me to start up again. I got the idea that I could use the Flamingo songs to write a part 2, taking place months later.
(I’ve added them here before, but I don’t think anyone read them, and I’ve changed then enough anyways, so I’ll just delete those)

And she’s taking a drag
Now they’re going to bed
And my stomach is sick
And it’s all in my head
But she’s touching his chest
Now, he takes off her dress
“But, I said I love you like the stars above, I’ll love you till I die,” I pleaded, desperately clutching to our relationship.
“Yes, I know that, but it’s just… well I don’t know how to explain it,” she responded in a bored and uncaring voice. I couldn’t believe this was happening. I didn’t understand. I couldn’t. After a moment of silence, her voice came back through the receiver, and said, “I guess this is good bye. Please, don’t try to keep in touch.” There was a click and then silence on the other end. Now I just heard my unsteady breathing coming through...
The Killers’ latest album, Battle Born, brought the Las Vegas band together with no less than five world-class producers — Steve Lillywhite, Stuart Price, Brendan O’Brien, Daniel Lanois, and Damian Taylor.
