You feel your phone buzzing in your pocket and answer it. "Hello?" "Hey Ashleigh! It's me Dal!" "Hey Dal!" It's good to hear that familiar voice, you think to yourself. "Listen, I just got outta jail, you wanna meet up?" He asks. "Yeah, of course!" "Ok, see ya at mine in ten minutes." "Bye!" You exclaim. You've known Dally since you were three years old. You could count on him for anything. You hurry to Dal's house remembering lots of thing you two have been through together. You take a deep breath and right as your about to knock on the door Dal opens it. "ASH!" He exclaimed hugging you! "DAL!" You yell returning the hug. "I've missed ya kid." "Kid? I'm only a few weeks younger than you!" You protest. "Still. Hey I wanna show you somethin'." He takes your hand and leads you out of the house. "Close your eyes." "Kay but if you make me run into anything I swear I'll murder you." You laugh. Not longer than a minute or two before Dallas tells you to open your eyes. You open them to see a table with white roses in the middle. "What do ya think?" "Dal, this is great!" You look on the table to see two pb&j sandwiches. "Classy Dallas Winston." You giggle. "So what made you decide to do this?" You question. "Well, this inmate of mine was talkin' to me about how he missed his sister's wedding because of jail. We were talkin' about our lives for some reason and you came into the conversation. He made me promise him that I'd ask you to be my girl when I got out. I'm keeping that promise. Will you be my girl Ashleigh?" He explains. You sit there shocked for a while. "Yes." You smile. "Yes I'll be your girl!!" You squeal jumping out of your seat and giving him a hug. And that was the start of a very happy relationship.
