One day you are walking to the park to the fountain you love. You decided to leave the house because your parents got into an argument. You hate when your parents fight. When you arrive at the park, you see this boy crying by the fountain. He was very good-looking. He was a greaser with black greasy hair and tan skin. He had a ripped-up jean jacket with ripped jean pants. You walk up to him.
"Hey, are you ok?" you ask.
He looks up at you with a sad look.
"I- I'm fine," he says as he wipes his eyes.
You notice he has a few bruises on his face and a scar on his left cheek. As you sat down, he raised his head from his arms and looked at you. You saw his eyes and they were a very dark brown. So dark that they were almost black.
"Why are you crying?" you ask him nervously.
"Uh- I just- got beat up by my parents and a few Socs," he said sniffling.
You know these guys. They are the rich kids that live on the Southside of town. They were always picking a fight with kids, especially greasers. Suddenly you realize that you were angry. You felt the angry rise in your body. The boy sitting next to you seemed so harmless and innocent. He was very quiet and shy. You hate it when people hurt other people especially kids. I was so angry at the fact that his parents would do such things to him.
"What's your name?" you ask trying to stay calm.
"Johnny," he said while looking at you.
"What's yours?"
"I'm (y/n)"
"C'mon it'll be ok," you say trying to help Johnny up.
As you both were on your feet, you ask Johnny,
"How did you get your scar?"
"Uh- I was jumped a few months ago and the guy had a few rings," Johnny says while rubbing his scar gently.
You could feel the anger rise in you again but you took a deep breath in and out. Right, when I was gonna ask his age, he said,
"What a pretty girl like you walking by yourself around here?"
You could feel your cheeks turning red and you looked away.
"Umm- my parents were fighting. I don't like when they argue, so I just come here," you said looking at your feet.
Then Johnny took your hand unexpectedly and said,
"Don't worry I'll protect you" then he kissed you on your cheek.
"C'mon I want you to meet a few of my buddies," he said still holding your hand and staring deeply in your eyes with a smile on his face.
"Sure!" you said blushing uncontrollably. You could tell this was the start of a strong friendship. Or maybe it could be more.

You and Ponyboy are sitting on the climbers at the park and watching the sunset. You really like Ponyboy but you don't know if he feels the same way back. All of a sudden he turns to you and begins to look you straight in the eyes. Your hearts slips a beat and you begin to blush, looking down. He lightly lifts your chin and says "(Y/N), I have an important question to ask you and I've been waitin' for the right time to ask you." You sit there speechless waiting for what comes next. Ponyboy slows begins to lean in and his lips meet yours. You accept them willingly. When the kiss ends you are both smiling and Ponyboy asks "Does that mean you'll be my girl?" You reply "Of course!" And you begin to kiss again.
