" where are you going Soda?" i asked my brother sodapop.He was seventeen going on eighteen.
"Nowhere ." he said greaseing his reddish brown hair back.
" then why do you look so pretty? " I leaned closer to him" and you actually showered. "
" shut up! I always shower! " He pushed me out of the bathroom roughly and salammed the door in my face. I sighed and turned to darry with a grin" where is he going darry?"
" I dont know... Probably on a date or something. "
" A date?I thought he still wasent over sandy."
" well... a guy can only drown in his sorrows so long. Exspecially a guy like him. " My oldest brother said simply.
" what do you mean?" I asked ciriouslly.

" its the first day of school...i got no homework. " I reached into the fridge for my favorite drink, a pepsi.

" Right now. " I grabbed a black shirt that randomly lay over a chair and headed outside after slipping my sneakers on. Twobit sat in his car, sipping a beer casually. " I swear your crazy." i said sitting in the car beside him." Arent we going to walk, the price is cheaper...i only brought 50 cents. "
" yeah..i guess. can i park the car here?"

When we got there i saw the blonde that smiled at me today in world history with a pretty short girl with long brown hair. The blonde laughed and smoked a cigarette. Nerveouslly i lit my own weed.I followed TWo-but to a seat. The two girls giggled, then walked over torwds us.I held my breath. They say behind us. I put my hands inbetween my knees and squeezed to kee[ from shakeing. " hey pone..you okay?" Twobit said. I glared at him and felt my face flush" yes TWobit, im fine "
" Hey, I think i know you." The brown hair girl said. We both turned around. " you..twobite"
" two-bit." he corrected." BUt you can jsut call me Keith. "

Twobit and i both broke out laughing . " He..chemistry? Thats a good one."
The girl laughed... then when she realized noone else was she stopped."..... oh. Well im Rebecca and this is my freind Carly"
Carly. I mentually wrote the name in my mind. " Im keith and this is Pontboy..."
" You guys have funny nicknames whats his real name ? "

Two bit was about to argu agian but i stopped him," My real names Micheal. My freinds jsut call me POnyboy.Its nice to meet you ladys."
Carly winked at him, " why dont you guys sit back here with us?"
" Sure." I said without waiting for Twobit to even breath. I sat inbetween rebecca and carly . These girls were greasers, they wore dirth jeans , wore boysih shirts and wore lots of makeup. They were in my legue.i Didnt have to worry about snotty bitches who didnt even want to be seen with me in public.I might even have a chance with this one. I leaned back in my chair relazing.I even let carly lean lightly into me.
" the movies starting. " Twobit said and smiled up at the pretty girls. But i didnt really see them. Not at all.All i could think of was how lucky i was . I had never been this close to a girl who i actually might like.
" Do you want a beer? " Twobit asked us.Rebecca and carly nodded right away and twobut pulled two out of his jacked. " pony?"
I thought about how last time i got drunk i got grounded for two weeks..and that was about two years ago. But i had a pretty girl sitting so close to me i could feel her breath on my cheek.And hell, whats one beer? Twobit cant possibly have too many more stashed in his coat. I reached across both the girls and grabbed a beer from him. He sat close to Rebecca, a little too close. She didnt look close to Twobits age at all. I shrugged and cracked open the beer. Whats one beer? Darry wont even find out, i bet.
