making fun of god?

The show shouldn't be taken too seriously, even South Park, Family Guy and many others are supposed to be satirical.

I think each person has her own opinion and if someone is offended by the show, then they shouldn't watch it. That way we won't have to argue back and forth.

i am a christian so if they make fun of jesus or god, then thats offencive to me. i don't care if they are just kidding, thats not nice to do. you could get in big trouble for doing that and i am surprized they have not yet

most people git all worked up on religin so thay mak fun of it for the people that dont and the people that can laf at the show and not tak it to sereisly

I love the Simpsons, but it sometimes annoys me when they make religious jokes. I think they are kidding, though. In one of the audio commentaries, they say the CHARACTERS make fun of God, while ome other charcters are very religious. I kind of understand what they mean, you have to have diversity and personality in your characters, you can't have them be exactly you.

The Simpsons is really funny but I don't know why they have to make fun of god, they still can make people laugh without hurting our feelings.

I think everyone has to respect people' thoughts. i love the the show but if would better if they stopped joking about religions
