“Our wedding will be on March 15th. It’s a long story about why we chose it. We will go into more detail probably on our group date-whatever we decide to do.”
As the parents were talking, they noticed their children coming out of the classroom. Nicole’s face lit up as she saw her parents and were rushing towards them with her backpack. “You’re coming with us and we have an appointment right now for the three of us. After that, you’re coming to work with us then we’re going home after ordering dinner. Mommy will be going to New York first and we will follow her after you’re finished with school.” Kyle told Nicole.
“What will we do while we’re in New York with Mommy, Daddy?”
“One of those days we thought that the three of us could drive to Syracuse so you could see all of your friends from when you were there with Tyler and Samantha. We also need to start planning your birthday party but that will happen after our wedding since your birthday is in the summer.”
“That sounds like fun. I miss seeing my old friends and I want to show off all the clothes that I have now plus all of my toys and of course the pictures of my new room.”
Little did Summer know that she was about to get some news regarding her horse that had been hers since the day she was born. While her horse had grown up on the Newman Ranch in the stables, she had also bought a male horse that was Kyle’s horse and his horse was in the stables with hers since they were now mated and a pair just like they were. “Summer? We have some news for you and it involves your horse.” Nikki told her.
“What about her?”
“She gave birth to a foal that was the result of breeding between Kyle’s horse and yours. We were thinking that their first foal could be Nicole’s horse. All of the other offspring of the breeding between your horses would belong to your other children as well.”
“I’ll talk to Kyle and get back to you, Grandma.”
“What was that about, Summer?”
“My horse has given birth to a foal that was the result of breeding between our horses. My grandparents want to know if we want to give the horse to Nicole and our other children will get the others. What do you say?”
