With their respective plans in place for each other’s birthdays, Kyle and Summer now needed to make sure that Nicole kept the secrets and didn’t tell her other parent. They also realized that they needed to make sure to tone down their relationship whenever they were at Jabot because both of them wanted any problems since Jack would be divided between them and doing what was best for the company.
    They also made the decision that they wanted to invite their therapist Jason to their party and the wedding. Unknown to them, their families had decided to attend another session with their therapist. “Summer? I don’t know if I ever told you this but I started to realize something had changed after we kissed in San Francisco.” Kyle started.
    “What do you mean by that, Kyle?” Summer asked.
    “After we kissed, you started to become all I could think about. I started to get distracted whenever we were at work because you were all I thought about. You still are all that I think about but now it’s not just you on my mind but our daughter as well.”
    “I never knew that. I meant what I said about the fact that I wasn’t going to apologize for wanting you because I know that we belong together. There’s a lot more that I want to tell you but I’m saving them for my vows. Speaking of our wedding vows, the officiant wants a copy of them before the ceremony to make sure that he doesn’t repeat what is in them.”
    “That’s fine, Summer. All we really need is each other and Nicole plus our families.”
    Kyle and Summer as well as the Abbotts and Newmans spent the next few weeks in therapy and had made a ton of progress. They had also given Jason his invitation for their housewarming and engagement party not to mention his Save The Date card. While finalizing their wedding plans, they had also received word from their lawyers that Kyle’s divorce was final.
    There would be three people not invited to their housewarming party which doubled as their engagement party and their wedding since they would only cause drama for them-Theo who as it turned out was actually Kyle’s cousin as well as Rey and Lola Rosales. Everyone else they worked with would be invited not to mention the representatives of the companies they had acquired and the ones they wanted to do business with. “Kyle? I have given out the invitations to all the colleagues that we want to invite to the wedding as well as to the engagement and housewarming party.” Summer told him.
    “Where is my invitation?” Theo asked the couple.
    “You weren’t invited because you’re not on good terms with Kyle or me. We also don’t want you around our daughter since she’s the most important person in our lives. Since you’re close to Lola, you can tell her that neither she nor her brother will be getting a wedding invitation or a party invitation. He’ll probably go as Sharon’s plus one but we are not giving any out to them.” Summer informed Theo.
    “Our other reason is that we have used a lot of our money around since we come from wealthy and legacy families. Lola never once liked the fact that I come from money and Summer likes it because we come from the same world. Feel free to inform her that Society probably won’t be getting a lot of business that evening since most of the town will be at our wedding. Our wedding cake on the other hand will be done by bakers from our favorite Parisian bakery who we will fly in just for the occasion.” Kyle told Theo.
