As Dave waited to push his train towards Zorrin Union Station, he heard an argument.
Isaiah: Listen, nobody is better than me at pulling passengers.
Mason: Is that why you abandoned your train?
Audience: *Laughing*
Isaiah: They deserved it! They were rude to me!
Dave: *Sighs* When will those two stop?

Ian: *Backs into a shed* Ah. Nothing like relaxing in a warm shed with a warm drink. *Looks at his cup of hot chocolate* Uh. Wait. I have no hands!
Audience: *Laughing*
Ian: Could be worse I suppose.
Episode 170: E VS F
Mason: *Following Isaiah* And that's another thing. You F units can't pull passenger trains as good as an E unit.
Isaiah: Don't get me started. I could run circles around you, if there were any tracks that would allow me to.
Audience: *Laughing*
Mason: We were built for pulling passenger trains since the 30's. You're a freight engine.
Isaiah: Which is also capable of pulling passengers.
Ian: *Sees the two diesels approaching the sheds* Not these two again.
Mason: For the last time, you're a freight engine! That's why you're called F units!
Isaiah: Oh, no no no no. The F really stands for-
Ian: Hey!
Isaiah and Mason loooked at Ian.
Ian: Why don't you work together instead of fighting for once?
Isaiah: Better idea. A contest.
Mason: A contest?
Isaiah: To see who gets more passengers on their trains. When we travel between Eastwood, and Zorrin, whoever delivers the most passengers between stations is the winner.
Ian: I like that idea. I never thought I'd say that to you, but you're a genius.
Mason: Don't know why. I'll just prove to you what I've been saying all along.
Isaiah: Will you?
They'd find out in a couple of days.
Ian: Alright you two, there's only a few rules to follow. Don't go over 90 miles an hour, and make sure to obey your scheduled station stops. Dave will be the judge, and ensure that you two race fair and square.
Isaiah: But being a square means you're boring.
Audience: *Laughing*
Ian: Just do as you're told.
Mason: No problem.
Ian: When the signals turn green, you can proceed.
The two engines waited, and once they saw their green signals, they were off. Both engines had five coaches.
Isaiah: Well, I only have to stop after passing the reservoir in Hunterdon.
Mason: I have to stop at the next station before entering Hunterdon. Isaiah may have a head start, but I'll catch up once he makes his stop.

Isaiah was already ahead when Mason made his stop in Eastwood.
Mason: Okay. I'm on time. Just wait for the passengers to get on, and-
Conductor: All aboard!!
Mason: We're good. *Blows his horn twice, and rings his bell while pulling out of the station*
Isaiah: My top speed is 75. Mason has more horsepower, but he may not be able to go faster with his cars.
In 20 minutes, Isaiah went over the reservoir.
Isaiah: By the time I get across the bridge, I'll apply the brakes, and I'll stop at the station on time.
Mason: *Approaching the reservoir* Just two miles across this bridge, and I'll overtake the failure. That's truly what the F stands for in F-unit.
Isaiah: *Waiting at the station* Hurry up.
Passenger 65: Don't rush me, or I'll never ride your train again.
Isaiah: You'd be doing me a favor!
Mason: *Passes Isaiah*
Isaiah: AHHH!!! Why won't the conductor say-
Conductor: All aboard!!!
Audience: *Laughing*
Isaiah: About time!! *Blows his horn twice while pulling his five passenger cars*
Just as Isaiah left the station however, he saw a freight pass him.
Drake: *Passes Isaiah while heading to Eastwood*
Isaiah: Oh this is just what I needed!
Passenger 65: What you needed? I'm gonna be late for my business meeting!
Mason made it to Zorrin Union Station first.
Mason: Ah, a fine run as always.
Passengers: *Getting off his train*
Mason: Now to refuel, and get turned around.
Just as Mason reversed onto his train to take it back to Eastwood, Isaiah arrived. Although he arrived after Mason, he had a smug grin.
Mason: *Confused as he looks at Isaiah* Doesn't he know I'm beating him?
Conductor: All aboard!
Mason: *Blows his horn twice, and rings his bell* Now I gotta stop at Hunterdon. *Pulls his train out of Zorrin Union Station*
When Mason made his station stop, he was passed by Isaiah.
Isaiah: *Blows his horn twice as he passes Mason*
Mason: Come on, I gotta get going!
Conductor: Just a few more seconds.
Passengers: *Getting on board*
Conductor: All aboard!
Mason: *Blows his horn twice while pulling out of Hunterdon*

Isaiah: *Smiles in a smug fashion as he continues pulling his train*
Mason: *Pulling his train at 60 miles an hour*
Isaiah: *Looks behind him* He's catching up. *Goes from 70 to 75* Not much of a speed difference, but better than nothing.
Mason: *Watching himself get closer to Isaiah* You're not reaching Eastwood before me!
Isaiah: I better slow down for this yellow. *Applies his brakes, and slows down to 50*
Mason: *Confused as he looks at Isaiah* He's never this calm! Why is he okay with me passing him?!?!
Isaiah: *Laughing while blowing his horn for a railroad crossing* Ah, this is beautiful.
Mason: Eastwood's five miles away.
Isaiah: Ian's gonna be really pleased with me when I arrive.
Dave was with Ian as the green SD50 watched the arrival of the two trains.
Ian: I see a headlight.
Dave: I think that's Mason.
The song stops as Mason applies his brakes, and stops at the platform.
Mason: I won.
Ian: We'll see about that.
Isaiah: *Gently stops next to Mason with his train*
Dave: I think we'll find that Isaiah is the winner.
Mason: WHAT?!?!
Isaiah: You forgot what the whole point of this contest was about, didn't you? It wasn't a race.
Ian: It was to see who could deliver more passengers between here and Zorrin, and I must say I'm impressed with Isaiah's victory.
Dave: You actually finished the journey without losing your temper for once. Well done.
Isaiah: Thank you gentlemen.
Mason: *Sighs. He looks down at the ground in disgust as he rolls away from his passenger train*
Next morning.
Isaiah: *Waiting in Zorrin Union Station*
Mason: *Backs up to a passenger train, next to Isaiah* Hey.
Isaiah: Still mad about the contest?
Mason: Not really. You actually did pretty good.
Isaiah: Well like I said, F units are good passenger engines. Take a look at Sean on the Eastern Pacific for instance.
Mason: What is he?
Isaiah: An F40.
Mason: Ah.
Conductor: All aboard!!
Isaiah: See you around. *Blows his horn twice while ringing his bell. He pulls his train out of the station*
