Remy opened her eyes to find the sun drowning the room with its rays. Greg was still sound asleep next to her. He lay on his back with his mouth hanging open. Many loud snores emanated from her lover. She kissed his cheek lightly and stood up from the bed.
"I'll start the eggs." She whispered.

House woke up ten minutes later to the smell of eggs and sausage. He yawned and stood up with the help of his cane.

"You're finally up." Remy said with a smirk as she handed him a plate of scrambled eggs and turkey sausage. He nodded in thanks before leaning in to kiss her cheek. She smiled softly and joined him at the table.
"You wore me out last night, young lady." He said with a lecherous grin as he chewed on a sausage.
"Well, that was the point.... What do you want to do today?" She asked as she buttered her toast.
"Well, one reason I chose Big Bear is because they have recreational facilities for cripples like myself..."
"Get to it already." She said with a playful roll of her eyes.
"At the United States Adaptive Recreation Center located five miles from here, I can go sledding, kayaking, skiing..."
Remy put a finger to his lips to hush him.
"You're excited. You haven't done those things in a long time."
"No, I haven't." He said with a look of wistfulness.
She stroked his lip. He kissed her finger and pulled her over to sit in his lap. She lay her head against his chest and listened to his heart.
"If you knew there was a place like that,then why did you never go before?" She asked.
"Because...I wanted to be here with someone I loved."
She pulled back a little to look up at him.
"Good answer." She said with a smile before she kissed him deeply on the mouth.
