Even though they were arguing the first time and making up the next time, it doesn't stop him from being there all the time.

Because no matter how much she complains about him immature or childish, there will always be that part of her that wants him to be like that, to remind her that maybe she can be herself too.

He doesn't want to let her down.

Whether it be pens, knives or just by telling him that he needs to be who he is, she never stops surprising him.

I love everything about this scene.
95. He had his hopes.
This scene really gets to me. Rivkin asks him whether he really expected him to leave Ziva just because he threatened him. The door closes and then he says "I had my hopes." It's like, when the door closes, he feels it's safe enough to say it. I can't get over that.
96. She wants something permanent.
Throughout their six years, he is the only one who has been permanent, the only one who has never let down, at least not on purpose. They are each other's constant.
97. She loved every second of it.
I'm sure if we had seen it, we would have too.
98. He put her happiness above his own.
That scene. Maybe soon I'll be able to actually write coherent thoughts about it?
99. He choose to comfort her rather than have dinner with EJ.

100. He does understand her.
That look when he and Ziva found out that Ray was the CIA liason. He knew Ziva would be upset, he knows that she has major trust issues. I think even he was hurt when she was with Ray, it hurt him more to see her so hurt, even if it was just fleeting while he was around.
