A few months after winning the million dollars, Mike was very happy because his personalities reapeared. It happened while at school when a bully from Mike's past came up, and began to beat him up. Mike, at the time, was also loosing the abilities his personalities gave him before he left. He wasn't able to jump and do flips like Svetlana, wrestle around like Vito, or lasso someone like Manitoba. During the beatings, Mike suddenly felt his personalities reappear. Slowly but surly, his personalities and his abilities came back to him and they helped him take the bully down. Mike was so happy they came back, but since all of them came back, that meant Mal came back, as well. Mike kept him locked up, though and the personalities kept an eye on him.

It was Christmas Eve, and Mike was getting ready for Christmas in both the real world, and in his mind. Mike loved Christmas! The smells, the tastes, and he was happy to celebrate it with his girlfriend Zoey, and his friend Cameron.

Mike and his personalities where setting up Christmas in his mind, to create a festive feeling to them all. "Here you go." Mike said handing the stapler to Svetlana who was setting up the decorations.

"Thank you." Svetlana said, as she stapled the stockings meticulously to the fireplace. Mike held the ladder for Svetlana as she slowly backed off the ladder and away from the fireplace and smiled at her work. "There. That looks amazing, Svet!" Mike expressed to Svetlana. Svetlana just smiled and hugged him. "Merry Christmas, Mike." Svetlana said. Mike smiled. "Should we go put up the rest of the decorations?" Svetlana nodded and the two went to put up the tree.

In another room Chester, Vito, and Manitoba where finishing up the remaining Christmas gifts. Mal was sitting against the wall, still chained up, watching them as they struggled to wrap the gifts. As funny as it was to Mal to watch the other personalities struggle with such an easy task in his mind, he was getting bored, so he decided to say something to the personalities.

"So, it's pretty nice that all of us are here to celebrate Christmas with Mike. Huh?" Mal said. Chester, Manitoba and Vito looked at Mal with annoyed expressions on their faces. The three personalities just rolled their eyes, and continued working. Mal glared with disgust. How dare they ignore him! Christmas wasn't Mal's favorite holiday, even when he disappeared. He wasn't the biggest fan of shiny or bright things.

"So have any idea what Mike will be doing?" Mal asked, determined to get something out of them. Still nothing from the personalities. Mal pouted, upset that they wouldn't even say a single word to him. Mal looked around the room, and saw a candy cane on the floor, just close enough to reach. Mal stretched his arm out for the candy cane and grabbed it. Mal began sucking on the candy can until it came to a nice sharp point, to which he then used it as a key to escape the shackles. The other personalities were too busy to notice Mal has escaped."Here I need your finger." Chester said to Manitoba holding a gift box. Manitoba then put his finger while Chester was tying the ribbon on.

Mal stood up and stretched. He was still licking his candy cane, while watching Chester trying to tie the gift; I mean it wasn't hard. As Mal was watching them to try and fail this, he realized he was still licking the candy cane. He looked at the candy can the the personalities. His candy cane. Vito. His candy cane. Vito's hair. Mal walked over to Vito, still distracted, and cautiously placed the candy cane in Vito's hair. After seeing his work, he smirked, and walked away to his room.

Mike and Svetlana came in with the rest of the decorations, and saw the three other personalities, struggling to wrap the gifts, and the candy cane in Vito's hair, making Svetlana giggle a bit. Mike walked over to the now empty chains that lay on the floor, well knowing who did this, but Mike just shook his head and smiled. "Of course." Mike said, laughing. Vito looked up at the two, noticing Svetlana was giggling at something. "Eh yo what's so funny huh?" Vito asked. Svetlana still giggling pointed to the candy cane in Vito's hair. Vito felt around in his hair, where he felt a stick, slimy candy can stuck in his hair.

"What? Oh God!" Vito said in disgust removing his hand out of his hair carefully, so he won't destroy his hair. This made all the personalities, laugh, even Chester. However, Chester was so distracted from the sight of how disturbed Vito was, that he didn't realize he tied Manitoba's hand to the gift. "What the hell, mate!?" Manitoba said, trying to shake his hand from the gift. This caused Chester's hand to raise up and shake around. He looked, and saw his hand was also trapped with the gift. The two attempted to get their hands out of the gift, making Svetlana laugh so hard, she fell over. "Oh really? This is funny to you, sheila?" Manitoba exclaimed. Svetlana just barely had enough will power to stand up and nod to Manitoba's question, but quickly fell back over. Mike knew Mal started this, so he left the other personalities to go find him.

Mike walked around the subconscious halls, and was looking for Mal's room. As Mike walked down one of the darker halls, he found Mal's room. Mike heard the sound of whistling in his room, which Mike recognized as "We Wish You A Merry Christmas". Mike knocked and suddenly, the whistling went silent.

"Go away Mike." Mal said through the door. Mike only glared and decided to just open the door. Mal's room was painted a dark, maroonish, red, with sketches and drawings of all of the evil plans Mal came up with in the past. His bed was on the opposite side of the room was his bed, covered with black sheets. In the corner of his room was his desk, which was drenched with papers, pencil stubs and a confusing block-like contraption. Mal was slouching in his desk, drawing a picture to ruin Christmas. Mike walked over to Mal, looked over Mal's shoulder only to notice the disturbing drawing Mal's created, and frowned with disappointment. "Mal, what am I going to do with you? I said I'll give you a chance as long as you're good. It's like your showing me you don't want to be here." Mike said. Mal's eyes winded with fear. He turned around to face Mike, who looked concerned for his friend. "I still want to be here Mike! It's just ... I feel like I'm not wanted here." Mal said, looking down at his feet. Mike just looked at his upset friend, trying to understand why he was acting this way.

Mike kneeled down to just below Mal's level. Mike looked up at Mal. "Look I gave you a chance to be with the other personalities." Mike said. "Yeah chained up." Mal spat back.

"You celebrated Halloween with the others." Mike said again. "Chained up." Mal spat again getting up from his desk and walking over to his bed.

"You celebrated Thanksgiving with the others! I even gave you food." Mike yelled, standing up. Mal turned around to face Mike. "What part of chained up don't you understand?" Mal said now laying down on his bed, completely ignoring Mike.

"Mal." Mike said, taking a few steps closer to Mal's bed. "Mike just go away. I don't care about Christmas." Mal said. Mike gasped in disbelief. Mike frowned, now upset that Mal is acting this way. He begins walking out of Mal's room. "Happy Holidays Mal." Mike whispered closing Mal's door.

Mal didn't even look at the door. He just glared and looked at the ceiling in his room. Mal lifted up his pillow, and took out a ripped picture of him and Mike as kids. Mal looked at the picture. He remembered all the good times the two of them had, but he knew those good times were over. Mal took the ripped picture and threw it in the trashcan next to his bed. Mal laid down, face up on his bed, and quickly fell asleep.

A few hours later, an eerie fog started to creep slowly into Mal's room. "Mal." A ghostly voice said. "Mal. It's time to wake up." Mal's groggy eyes slowly began to open to a faded image.
