Trent P.O.V.
I slowly crept up toward her, until I was literally breathing down her neck, I grabbed her neck and drove my fangs into it. She struggled at first, but soon her gasps of shock turned into
moans of pleasure, As great as it was, I had to stop to keep from killing her. I let her go, with both of us breathing hard, "Don't....Do that..." Gwen said panting
"Since when does food get to choose if I eat it or not?" I countered
We stared at each other in silence, but then the phone rang.
Gwen's P.O.V.
I answered the phone greatful that it broke the awkwardness between Trent and me. I hated that he bit me, yet it was.....It was....OK. It wasn’t horrible or painful, I well....I liked it.
“Hello, Rosemary residence. Gwen speaking.” I greeted.
“Ah, hello Gwendolyn.” A raspy yet somehow familiar voice said from the other line.
“Yes, can I help you?” I asked looking at the caller ID, but it said UNKNOWN.
“I just call to inform you that your father is dead.” He said coldly into the phone.
“What? Who the hell is this? This isn’t funny.” I snapped. Trent looked at me awkward but I ignored him.
“Now we can spend hours together with out being.....interrupted.” He hissed.
“Who is this?” I yelled again.
“Anxious are we? You’ll find out soon enough. But for now I’ll give you a warning.” He said.
“Who is this? Tell me now.” I yelled into the phone again.
“Stay away from Trent. If you don’t listen to my warning, someone else will die. 3 days. Lose the vampire.” He hissed before hanging up. I felt like I was going to be sick. Should I take him
seriously? How does he know Trent’s a vampire?
“Someone’s coming to the door.” Trent said 5 seconds before some one knocked. I walked to the door and answered it. Standing there were 2 police officers.
“Gwendolyn Rosemary?” one asked. I simply nodded my head. “We’re sorry. Your fathers dead.” He said.
Trent's P.O.V.
Wow, he really was dead... I wonder what Gwen was thinking. The cops stuck around for about ten more minutes, gave their condolences, and left. Gwen was devastated, but even
then when no one but me was watching she still didn't cry, I sense her grief, but she still didn't show it, she was extremely brave and emotionally strong, she was the of person I
would have become friends with as a human... Gwen slowly trudged over to the couch and sat next to me, staring into space, "He's really dead?" I asked
Gwen's face twisted in rage "Like you didn't know!" Against her will, Gwen began to silently cry,
"Gwen, I SWEAR I didn't have anything to do with your father's death!" By this time, Gwen ingnored being strong and burst out in tears. I had to do something...
"Hey, Gwen, don't worry about your father or anything else, because as of now, you've got a vampire for a best friend!" I said smiling
And done, remember your ideas, suggestions and comments are what keep this story alive!
