"Hold on Mom, I have to check my Email! My bus comes in 6 minutes, I have time!" I shouted down the hall. Today was my last day of school. I grabbed my backpack of the ground and dashed into my Dad's office. I clicked on the computer and waited. The Email icon popped up and I clicked, Most Recent. I turned my attention to a new message and gasped. My jaw dropped open. *4 minutes later* "Sofie!" My mom called. "Your going to be late for-" She stopped when she walked into the office and saw me. "Sofie?" She repeated. I shakily pointed to the computer screen. She saw the message and began to read out loud. "Dear Sofie, the producers and I looked over your tape, and decided that you are just the kind of crazy we need here on Total Drama Island! Please meet my assistant at the Lake Ontario boating co. at 2:00 Friday, June 10. See you at camp! -Chris McClain." She stopped reading at looked at me again. "So?" I looked at her and frowned. "So?!" I repeated. I jumped out of the seat and danced around the living room. "I got in! I actually got accepted to Total Drama Island! Mom, this is HUGE!" I sighed, satisfied with my self and and lay on the couch. Suddenly remembering a line from the Email,I looked up. "THIS Friday? Thats today! I'll still be at school at 2:00!" My mom gave me a look that said, "If this is really that important..." My face brightened and and smiled whipping off my backpack. "THANKS MOM!" I screamed running up the stairs.
I began to stuff outfits into my green suit case. Making sure to pack plenty of gummy worms. (My favorite candy) Just in case. At about 1:34, I was STILL packing. Jamming four of my best bathing suits into the luggage. "Sofie!" My Mom called. "How long does it take a sixteen year old girl to pack a bag for eight weeks?" I looked at my five suit cases. Apparently a long time. "I'll drive you to Lake Ontario if you hurry up! It's half an hour from here in Ohio!" I finished brushing my long red hair and threw the brush into a bag also. "I'm ready!" I dashed down the stars, my suit cases trailing behind me. My Mom raised an eyebrow at me. "What?"
