Song (Start at 38:10): link
A beautiful afternoon started in Jim Thorpe. It was unusually warm too as the temperatures were in the 50's.
Mily: Okay, everyone ready to go to Port Clinton?
Passengers: Yes!
Mily: Then here we go! *Blows her whistle twice, and pulls her six car passenger train*
Sean was pulling another passenger train with five Amfleets. He started his journey from a new station in Pittston. His signal was red so he had to stop on the wye.
Mily: *Sees her signal is red too* Hey Sean.
Sean: Hey.
Mily: I'm surprised you look upset. It's a great day.
Sean: I know, but it's gonna take more than nice weather to help me feel better.
Mily: *Sees her signal turn green* Let's talk about it later. *Pulls her train*
Sean: *Watching Mily pull her train. His sadness begins to increase*
Mily: *Watching Sean as she continues her journey* That's really not like him. What could the problem be?
SeanTheHedgehog Presents
Mily: *Increasing speed as she enters the town of Nesquehoning*
Stomping Grounds
Suddenly, Mily heard Jazlin talking to her on a radio.
Jazlin: Hey Mily, how's your run going?
Mily: Fine. I just passed Sean though. He seems sad.
Jazlin: Did he say why?
Mily: Not enough time. We'll discuss it later when I get to Port Clinton.
We get an overhead view of Mily as she blows her whistle for the railroad crossings.
Episode 2: Homesick
After talking to Jazlin, Mily was starting to feel concerned. She knew Sean for a long time, and seeing him in an unpleasant mood was surprising.
Mily: *Going through the Merion Avenue crossing in Hometown* Whatever's bothering him, I hope I can help to make things better.
At Port Clinton, a long string of Burlington Northern centerflow hoppers came to a stop. The consist was stopped at the station.
Mily: *Stops at a red signal, looking at the green freight cars*
Andy: *Walking over to Mily* Ah, my favorite engine. I'm sorry about this freight train blocking your path. One of the diesels broke down. A replacement will arrive however to get these cars out of your way.
The song turns off as Mily talks to her boss.
Mily: That's fine sir. There is something I wanna discuss with you while I'm waiting.
Andy: Shoot.
Mily: I passed Sean when leaving Jim Thorpe. He was in an unusually depressed mood.
Andy: I wonder why.
Mily: I'm in the dark about it too. I would have asked him what the matter was, but I wasn't able to stay at the wye for long.
Andy: That's alright. We'll settle the matter later when he arrives.
Mily and Jazlin were waiting at the engine shop with Andy Muller Jr when Sean arrived with his passenger train.
Sean: *Stops at the station*
Andy: Hello there.
Sean: Oh. Hi sir.
Mily: I told Jazlin, and Mr. Muller about how you've been feeling lately.
Jazlin: You're not usually down in the dumps.
Andy: What's wrong?
Sean: It's a little complicated to explain. It's nice to be back in the east coast, but after leaving my cousin, and friends back on The Island Of Errol....I can't stop thinking about them.
Andy: Oh. I think I see the problem now.
Jazlin: You're homesick.
Sean: Yeah. That wasn't my original home to begin with, but after being there for nine years, I didn't think I'd leave that quickly.
Jazlin: I miss everyone back there too.
Mily: So do I. Remember though, we came here for a reason.
Andy: Things have gone worse with Norfolk Southern frequently attacking us. Your help will benefit everyone on this line.
Sean: I'm aware of that, but still...It's just gonna take some time for me to get used to this.
Mily: Well, we're here for you if you ever need anything.
Jazlin: All you have to do is ask.
Sean: *Smiles* Thanks you three. Right now, I just wanna get some rest. *Leaving the station* See you tomorrow.
Andy: Thank you Sean. See you tomorrow.
