It was a long night. Sometimes I wish I could fall asleep. Thats one of the things I miss about my human life.
As the sun rised, it beamed through the windows of our cottage and our skin glistened like diamonds. Edward looked at me and smiled his crooked smile I've always loved. I had a good feeling of what he was about to say.
"Happy Valentines day!" He said it so enthusiastically.
I forced out a smile "And happy Valentines day to you" My voice croaked.
I hope he hasnt planed anything. He knows I hate celebrating things and...
"I've organised a party." He said before I could finish my thinking. He looked as if he knew what I was about to say.
"Edward! Thats nice but you know I hate celebrating things and having partys!" I finished what I was thinking a moment ago.
He gave me a small box with red hearts on the wrapping paper. He acted like he didnt even hear what I just said.
"Hope you like it" Edward said.
I un-wrapped the box and opend it up. In there was the most beautiful silver locket. It was so detailed. On the front it read 'Lion and Lamb'.
"I love it! Thank you so much Edward." I said uncontrollably.
He gave me a kiss "Your welcome"
I couldnt help but laugh at the 'Lion and Lamb' part.
"Whats so funny?" He said with confusion.
I tried to hold back the laughter before I spoke. "And so the lion fell in love with the lamb" I smiled "Not such a stupid lamb after all"
He gave me a huge smile. "Look inside the locket"
I opened the locket and there was a picture of me on the left and Edward on the right. My hair looked so silky and soft, my eyes were beautiful and my skin was the colour of pearl. This picture was obviously taken as a vampire. Edwards skin was pearl coloured just like mine, his hair silky and smooth and everything about his features were beautiful as always.
"We both look so beautiful, I love it, Thanks" I gave him a kiss.

It was now 7:00pm. Edward wanted to decorate the cottage but with no suprise Alice had beat him to it. There was flowers on every surface, hearts hanging from the ceiling, chocolates in heart shaped boxes in every room and confetti spread all around. I was really wasnt looking forward to this but I didn't want to upset Edward. To make it worse, Alice dressed me in a over flowery frock that I could hardly walk in because it was too long. I also didn't want to disapoint Alice so I kept it on. Renesmee seemed to be really excited over the whole event. She loved my dress and she loved the decorations. She ran over to me with her arms open wide. I picked her up and held her in my arms.
"Happy valentines day mummy, love you." She said in her sweet harmony voice.
"And to you darling. I love you too"

Alice started the music as the family walked through the door. It was all lovey dovey music. I didn't mind it, it's just not my kind of music.
First, Rose and Emmet stepped in, followed by Carlisle and Esme.
"Happy valentines everyone!" Esme said. I was begining to get sick of the sentence.
"It's so nice to see the whole family together" Carlisle said with great joy.
But the whole family wasnt here. Where was Jasper? Where was Jacob? I know Jacob isnt really family but he counts. Plus surely he would want to see Renesmee on this day.
"Where's Jasper and Jacob?" I said. They all looked at me for a few seconds untill one of them finally spoke.
"They will be here soon, don't worry" Edward said.

Soon enough, Jasper and Jacob arrived with big smiles on their faces.
