I woke up to a sunny sky, which was the cloudiest day in my book. I turned my head and saw him smiling. “Can you, go in the sunlight?” I asked. He smiled and laughed a sharp laugh. “You mean do we burn?” he replied. I smiled and nodded. He signed. “No we do not burn we...sparkle” he said, this shocked me I smiled and put my hand on his ice cold cheek. “Can you show me?” I asked, he smiled and nodded. “I will later but now you have to get ready” He told me, I smiled and gave him a confused look, until I remembered. Today I had to meet his family. “What if they don’t like me?” I asked again. He smiled and then he was the one giving me a confused look. “Who could not like you you’re perfect” He said I smiled and signed. “Okay then but you have to wait, I need a human minute” is aid, he nodded and helped me to my feet. I got a towel and went to the bathroom. I turned the water on letting the cold water run down my body, I didn’t bother changing the water to warm, and cold things didn’t really bother me anymore.

When I got out he was lying on my bed and smiling. I walked out and say next to his feet. He looked up, he smiled, “I love blue on you” he said commenting on my blue top. I smiled and leaned over to kiss him, but before I could even reach, he was kissing me. I put my arms around him and kissed him back. “I Love you” I said as he let go. I nearly jumped out of his arms, it just slipped out. “I love you to” he whispered in my ear. I signed of relief. “So the lion fell in love with the lamb” He said smiling. “What a stupid lamb” I replied Smiling. “What a sick masochistic lion” he said still smiling. He got up and pulled me with him. “Let’s go” he said walking. “Wait, I had a shower now you need to go have one, what would people think?” I said mocking him. He turned to face me and smiled. “I already did” I he said. I gave him a confused face. “When, did you leave?” I asked he gave me a mocking smile. “You take a while in the shower” He informed me. I smiled. “Fine let’s go” I said as we both walked out the door.

We walked down stairs; I looked around to see if Charlie was here. He noticed this. “Does Charlie know about us?’ he asked. I gave him a ‘oops’ look. “Are you ashamed of me?’ he asked. I was shocked I shook my head and walked ahead of him into the kitchen. He followed and sat at the table. “Then what is it?” He asked. I signed and sat next to him on the table. “I am not ashamed of you at all, but I just broke up with Jacob, so” He nodded and I knew that he understood. I smiled and got up to get my breakfast. “I understand, he was here last night, I could smell him” he told me. I nearly dropped my plate in shock. “Why?” I asked, getting the milk out of the fridge. “He was worried about you” He answered me. I nodded and poured the milk in the bowl full of cereal. I then sat and started to eat, I was eating quickly having a spoon full at a time. “But he way, what were you thinking telling Rachael that I didn’t love you” I nearly choked on my breakfast. “How did you know?” I asked, feeling stupid after I did. “I overheard while I was waiting for you in your room” he replied. I smiled and rolled my eyes turning my attention back to my breakfast. “And I didn’t say you didn’t love me I said I didn’t know” I said smiling. I heard him laugh. “Right apparently I just care about you” He said mocking me. I finished my last spoon full; I got up and put it in the sink. I turned and he was there smiling. “Can we go now?’ he said happily. I signed and nodded.

We pulled up at a house near the woods. The house was big and, and had 3 cars in the drive way. Edward opened my door for me and led the way to the door. “Ready?” he asked as he opened the door. “Yeah” I replied as I walked in. As I walked in I saw Carlisle and a woman who looked around the same age as him standing next to him, I smiled. “Esme and Carlisle, this is Bella” He said putting his arm around my waist. “Nice to meet you Bella” The young woman said. “Bella this is Esme my mother for all purposes” Edward said, I smiled and nodded. “Nice to meet you Esme” I greeted her. “Nice to see you again, Bella” Carlisle said. I nodded and smiled. “You too” I said, behind him I noticed the rest of the family coming down the stairs. Alice had her arms around Jasper and was smiling, Jasper looked the same as he always did but he was looking at Alice’s smile. And beside them was Emmett who had his arms around Rosalie like he was holding her back. Rosalie was not smiling she was looking at me, more like she was glaring at me. “Bella, you already know Alice, Jasper, Emmett and Rosalie” he said, nodding at them. I was about to say hello when Alice let go of Jasper and hugged me. “Welcome Bella” She backed off. “Oh Edward was right you do smell good” she said, I smiled and tried not to laugh. “Thank you” I said, confused on what to say. “Alice what are you..?” asked Edward giving Alive a confused look. “Oh Edward don’t worry Bella and I are going to be great friends” Alice said going back to Jasper. Jasper looked uneasy. “Oh sorry, Bella Jasper is our newest vegetarian” Edward said, I nodded. “Hello Jasper” I said smiling. He returned a nod. “Pleasure to meet you” he said, I never noticed he had a southern accent. My eyes turned to Rosalie again who was still glaring at me. “Rosalie” Esme said in an annoyed tone, she had noticed her glare. “What, we can’t just pretend it’s not happening” She hissed back. “Just ignore Rosalie, I do” He hissed back. She stepped forward but Emmett held her back. “Yeah, let’s just ignore this like it’s not happening, she’s human and not only that but she was with a...Dog” She hissed, looking at me again. The word dog echoed in my head until I heard Alice’s sweet voice. “Rose, be nice” She said, I looked up, and saw Alice smiling at Rosalie. “We’ll see you later” Edward said pulling me away.

We walked upstairs as he showed me all the rooms, and then we were at the door of his. “This is my room” He informed me. I smiled and walked in. The room was white and didn’t have a bed for obvious reasons; there was a whole shelf full of cd’s and a big flat screen TV. I turned to him, his face was hard to read but I could tell he looked nervous. “This is nice” I said smiling. He smiled and came closer. “What did you expecting, coffins and dungeons and moats?” He asked. I smiled and laughed a little but then stopped. “Well, no not the moats” I admitted. He smiled, and sat on the leather couch, I followed. I sat right up closer to him. “Sorry about what happen before with Rosalie” He apologized. I shook my head. “It’s nothing and plus I was with Jacob” I said smiling; he put his hand on my cheek. “I thought she would have scared you with her glaring and hissing” He admitted I smiled and put my hand on his cheek. “You guys don’t scare me” I said. He smiled and got up, putting his hand out. I took it and got up. “What?” I said looking at him confused. “You really shouldn’t have said that” he said pulling me on to his back and flying out the window. I opened my eyes and we were back on the couch, I was sitting on him my head on his chest. “You were saying?” He asked I smiled. “You’re a terrifying monster” I replied, he laughed. “Much better” He laughed.

I woke up; Edward was on the phone sitting on the rocking chair. “Yes, Alice, but what you saw was too much of a risk for her” He said, I got up and walked over to him. “I’ve got to go” He said hanging up the phone. “What is it?’ I asked. He got up and hugged me, his hug was tight. “Alice saw something, something bad, you can’t go to school today” he informed me. I pushed him back, giving him a confused look. “What why can’t I?” I asked, crossing my arms. “Bella, we have some visitors” He said.
