I think so too, I think that the reason he loved Bella was because she'd give birth to Renesmee, the girl Jake would imprint on :) I think that it was kinda destined from the beginning, before everything was really started.

I think the wolves do tend to be attracted to women who are related to their future imprints. Sam and Leah are another example.
