Lilyleaf padded through the ferns to the camp. She had catmint, tansy, and borage hanging from her jaws as she padded through the grass tunnel into camp. She padded right to her den and started sorting out herbs. Catmint was going to come in handy seeing that it was leaf-fall and Greencough season was coming soon. She put tansy back in the store were they had tons and she put the borage into a pretty fair sized store of it. She grabbed some borage as soon as she put it away and padded over to the nursery. She put the borage next to Leafbreeze who only kitted the day before, she had a black-and-white Tom and a white she-cat both kits had the same shape as their father. She sat up and ate the herbs.
"thanks Lilyleaf, I was worried my milk was going to stop" the young queen meowed
"we have plenty of borage, so you will not run out of milk, plus their are other queens invade anything goes wrong" Lilyleaf meowed.
Meowing a goodbye to Leafbreeze she padded out of the nursery and grabbed a mouse and ate. She looked up towards her den then heaved herself to her paws and started to pad towards it. When she was inside she padded to her nest and took a nap.
She woke up in a starry clearing a second later. She looked around. No cat was in sight. She was confused. Was this StarClan? She had never gotten a dream from StarClan in her nest. Suddenly a filmier golden she-cat padded into the clearing.
"Sunbeam!" she called. The young she-cat looked at her sharply as if something was wrong. Then she muttered something Lilyleaf could barely hear.
"beware of your kin, they have the power to change StarClan forever" she so uttered then she started to fade.
"wait! Lilyleaf meowed calling for the golden she-cat
"you have to tell me more!! Wait!!" she yowled. She woke up panting. Looking around madly it was starting to get dark out. She got up and padded outside. Full moon. She had not realized that tonight was the gathering. She grabbed a small vole and ate it swiftly as Froststar gathered warriors and apprentices to go. She looked out to Lilyleaf.
"hey Lilyleaf! You look troubled come over here and tell me what's wrong" Froststar called.
Lilyleaf padded over lightly and sat beside Froststar on the greatboulder. She started her story
"Sunbeam visited me in my dream and told me something mystifying and startling 'beware your kin, they have the power to change StarClan forever'" she meowed softly so no one could hear. Froststars ears shot straight up.
"what could they mean? I mean your brother Freezefang could possibly have kits. But you have no other kin in the clan. So it must mean that, medicine cats are forbidden to have kits so they are talking about the future kits Freezefang has. Froststar meowed. Then swiftly she said to the clan
"come on everyone, let's go" she meowed then she leaped off the greatboulder.
Lilyleaf jumped off right behind her and followed her leader to the gathering. Once they got their it was chilly. BeezeClan, LightningClan, and StreamClan were already there. But the leaders did not start for awhile. Lilyleaf looked around and suddenly her eyes met with a handsome black Tom with golden eyes. At the sight of him her stomach dropped and she felt herself blushing shylyHe was a bit older an Lilyleaf herself for she recognized this warrior. It was Nightfrost, from BreezeClan.
