Pennyworth is a series that started in 2019 and ended in 2022. It had three seasons and thirty episodes. The series has Bruce Wayne's butler, Alfred Pennyworth, as the protagonist. However, the show takes place before Bruce Wayne was born, so Bruce and his costumed alter-ego aren't in the series.

The series takes place when Alfred Pennyworth was in his late twenties. He had finished serving a decade as a soldier. He wants to start leading a less dangerous lifestyle, so he can settle down with his girlfriend. However, he ends up getting dangerous assignments from Thomas Wayne and Martha Kane. Alfred starts getting more work and more money than ever before, but his new work could put him and the people that he cares about in danger.

Having a series focused on the early days of Bruce Wayne's butler might seem odd and random. For a long time, I was hesitant to give the series a chance, because it didn't seem like an idea that could carry a series. However, I will admit to being wrong. While Alfred's adventures might not measure up to some of Batman's better adventures, the series is able to be charming and intriguing.

Alfred was a much different kind of person back then, so it's interesting to see a different side of a character that I've known all my life. Jack Bannon gave a very charming performance as the titular character. While this show's Alfred acts a lot differently than the Alfred we're used to, Jack Bannon captured the character's sly wit. The series has Alfred do a lot of things that you might not expect him to do. There were a few things that certainly surprised me. Also, the series gives people a chance to know what Alfred's parents were like.

Another interesting element of the series is seeing what Thomas and Martha were like back then. Thomas and Martha's role in Batman stories is usually just to get shot, so that Bruce can become motivated to become Batman. However, Pennyworth gave both Thomas and Martha a lot more personality and development than usual. This series has probably the most intriguing and complex version of Martha there's ever been. The series shows Thomas and Martha meeting each other. Martha's last name, Kane, is a reference to Batman co-creator Bob Kane. Thomas can be rather condescending and more unlikable than the show pretends like he is. However, most of the other characters are well-written and enjoyable to watch. It's fun to see the early days of Lucius Fox, the person that would go on to make Batman's gadgets. The show is given two main villains that are very distinct from each other. One is a well-intentioned, tragic figure, while the other is deliciously despicable.

A lot of modern shows don't have much of an intro, but that's not the case with Pennyworth. Pennyworth has an exciting, stylized opening that's one of the better openings to a recent show and one of the best openings to come out of the Batman franchise.

The series is for adults. It contains lots of violence and language.

Pennyworth is a series that could easily have been boring. However, thanks to sharp writing, great acting and some fresh takes on old characters, Pennyworth is an intriguing, enjoyable series.

Several famous actors guest-starred in the original Batman series as villains. One of the most memorable guests was Roddy McDowall as the Bookworm. Because of Roddy McDowall's great performance and the Bookworm's fun personality and gimmick, the Bookworm is one of the more popular villains from the series. In honor of Paul Reubens, I have this article that looks over the times that Paul Reubens appeared in the Batman franchise.

Paul Reubens had a cameo appearance in Batman Returns film as the Penguin's father. The Penguin's father was originally going to be played by Burgess Meredith, the actor that played the Penguin in the original Batman series and movie. However, Burgess Meredith was dealing with health problems, so he had to pass on the role. Batman Returns wasn't the first time that Paul Reubens appeared in a Tim Burton film, because he had previously starred in Pee-wee's Big Adventure....

Blue's Clues fans know that Steven Burns's Steve was the original host of Blue's Clues. While working on the fourth season, Steve decided it was time for him to step down as host and move on to other things in his life. However, that didn't mean that it was time for the series to end. Blue's Clues was still a big hit with families, so it was decided that the series would get a new host.

Nickelodeon decided to do something rather amusing when it came time to announce the new host. Instead of just giving the answer away, Nickelodeon did a commercial that said that you had to see the newest episode...

Batgirl almost had a film come out, but before the finishing touches could be put on the film, it was cancelled. Instead of getting a theatrical release, DVD release or streaming release, the film wasn't released to the public in any format. I was and still am very upset about the film's cancellation, because I had been looking forward to the film. In fact, it was one of my most anticipated superhero films.

It was going to be Batgirl's first film.

While Batgirl did appear in 1997's Batman and Robin and several animated films, this film was going to be her first time in the spotlight. Barbara...

Joel Schumacher directed 1995's Batman Forever and 1997's Batman and Robin. There were plans to have him direct a third Batman film. The film was expected to have a 1999 release, but it ended up not getting made. However, a lot of thought went into ideas for the film.

Joel Schumacher's Batman films are considered to be sequels to Tim Burton's Batman despite having a different director and different actors playing Batman. Joel Schumacher was brought on after the studio feared that Tim Burton's version of Batman was becoming too scary to market towards kids. Joel Schumacher was asked by the studio...
