Monday marked the beginning of yet another season of The View with Whoopi Goldberg as the Host of the daytime show.
"I'm so glad to be doing it once more, it's great to be together discussing hot topics with the other ladies." Whoopi said in a discussion with a source. Whoopi Goldberg was introduced as the show's latest co-host Wednesday, joining Barbara Walters, Joy Behar and Elisabeth Hasselbeck on the panel of ABC's hit daytime show.

Goldberg replaces Rosie O'Donnell, who ended her controversial -- but ratings-boosting -- tenure in May.

Goldberg has won an Oscar, Emmy, Grammy and Tony in her career. The Oscar was a best supporting actress award for her performance in 1990's "Ghost."

"I love this show," Goldberg, 51, said upon joining the panel on Wednesday's show. "I love coming on it. I love hanging out with you guys."

O'Donnell approved of the choice. "Whoopi...
