"Kayla! You can go rest, I'm making Easy-Mac!" I called. I don't know where she's at, but I'm sure she heard me. I shuffled to the kitchen in my sock feet. I slid on the floor and hit the cabinet with my shoulder, forgeting that it can open so easily, and fell with a loud bang. I sighed, not feeling any pain and just lay there on the warm floor. I looked up to the bright light. I wonder what it'd be like to be blind. But I stopped staring at it because I saw some chocolate on the highest shelf. Kayla got chocolate with out telling me! And I thought she would be a cool friend. I glared at the chocolate. I looked around for a stepping stool, but didn't find one.

"Darn it, Kayla," I muttered to myself. I gave up on the chocolate and grabbed the Mac-and-Cheese. I did what the instructions told me. I waited by the microwave, even though the food is going to take about four minutes. I yawned, but I wasn't tired. I started to sing "A Thousand Years" by Christina Perry. I was just muttering the words, so even I couldn't hear myself. The microwave beeped, making me jump. I grabbed a little dish towel so I wouldn't burn myself and grabbed the little bowl of noodles.

I sat down on a chair by a small table made for two. Not thinking, I took a big spoonful of noodles and put them in my mouth. I yelled in pain when the hot macoroni touched my tongue. I spit it out on myself, not thinking once again.

"Shit," I muttered. I grabbed the towel from under the bowl of noodles, carefully, and cleaned myself. I got up and shuffled out of the kitchen and to the garage to the laundry shoot thing. I threw the towel down and shut the door with a bang. I went back to my noodles, hoping they're a little cooler now. I took one macoroni with my spoon and ate it. Perfect. No burning sensation, and not too cold. I happily ate my Mac-and-Cheese. When I was finished I ran up the stairs to my room. I collapsed onto the carpet (I like floors) and snuggled into a ball on the soft floor. I fell asleep.

My dream started out with me as a wolf. I was running as fast I could from something. I looked behind my shoulder and saw the black figure of Hugo as a wolf. His mouth foamed and his eyes were red like mine. I looked forward, pushing myself to go faster; to get away from this monster. I slid to a stop because a ball of light got in my path. I looked behind my shoulder again. Hugo's getting closer. I turned back to the golden light. It transformed into a wolf. The golden brown coat with old scars waved from the wind that only it could feel. I looked up at the large wolf.

"Aramis?" I whispered. The great wolf didn't look at me but back at Hugo who also stopped. Hugo bowed his head and the golden wolf did the same. Hugo backed off and left me to shudder from the presance of the greatest wolf to ever live. He looked down at me with his old, gray eyes.

"Nicole," his voice was soft, but strong; much like Sky. "I came to give you this." He howled and a black ball of light came from his mouth. It turned into a bird. It was in the flying position, but it wouldn't move. The wings wouldn't move but it came down to my legs. The tattoo attached itself to my lower legs. I yelled from the pain. I looked back up at Aramis, who didn't move a muscle.

"What's this?" I said through my clenched teeth.

"Your powers," Aramis gave a slight smile.

"'Powers'? But each wolf only has one." I said. What is this old wolf up too?

"Yes, but let's change that." Aramis walked throught the air and around me. His grey eyes burned through me. "Why were you and Sky in that abandoned house?"

"Because we wanted to have an adventure. We were only ten at that time." Is he really bringing this up?

"Your power is Bravery. You take any thing thrown at you without another thought. Now, who bit you?"

"Henry." Bravery?

"You can now read minds. What is that marking on your side?" Aramis nudged the little gray spot on my side.

"I don't know."

"The marking of a Faith. You have the Elements. You are my great-great-great-great-freat granddaughter." With that I woke up.
