After we finished building our amazing fort, we started making snowballs. I made ten, Artemis made eighteen and Megan made forty-two. Together we had 60 snowballs.
“Okay girls. The enemy is larger than us and may out arm us. But we have the stronger defense. And like my coach used to say: A great offense is nothing without good defense” I encouraged
“Okay, but how do we beat them?” Artemis asked
“You think you can shoot snowballs with your bow?” I asked
“Yeah, why?” she nodded
“Well y-Please Megan, link us up right now” I said
‘What was that about?’ Megan asked mentally
‘We were being listened to. Anyways, back to my plan. Artemis, you and Megan will shoot out of the windows while I’ll be the defense. Any questions?’ I finished
‘Yeah. What happens if they shoot two at the same time. You can’t be in two places at once’ Megan pointed out
‘I’ll figure it out’ I smiled ‘Now lets go!’
“Let the war, BEGIN!” I screamed, flying out of the fort. I stayed in mid air incase they tried to hit the inside of our fort. They shot three normal sized snowballs at the tower. I blocked them all with my wings. I heard Wally go “Dang it! I forgot about her wings!” I laughed. Another snowball was fired. I smashed it with my mace.
“Fire!” I screamed. Five snowballs were fired. They all hit the fort. I noticed small cracks appearing above their windows were we hit.
‘Megan aim for the parts right above the windows. It’s weakest there’ I told her mentally. They threw a huge snowball at me. I smashed back at them, knowing it wouldn’t brake on impact. It hit their fort and brought down a section on the wall.
“Artemis, fire through the hole!” I exclaimed. She shot four snowballs through their fort and hit Wally and Robin in the chest. Then I saw their ammunition pile. It was in clear view of the hole.
“Offense! Shoot right through the hole!” I commanded. Megan and Artemis shot at their ammunition until there was none left. They managed to hide one giant ball and shoot it at me when I wasn’t looking. It hit me in the back and drove me to the ground. I tried to get up, but I was in to deep. I reached for my mace, but it was out of my reach. The snow was slowly freezing my body, dragging me into unconsciousness. I fought the peace that came with freezing death. I kept struggling to get out until, I finally burst out. I looked at my hands. They were so cold they were orange. I had a feeling my lips were a new shade of purple too. I flapped my wings to warm them up a bit. I looked around and realized the team was gone.
