Aang, Zuko, and i were in the courtyard. i sat on the steps while Zuko taught Aang something new. "There's one techniche you need to leard before facing my father," Zuko said. "How to re-direct lightning. If you let the energy in your own body flow, the lightning will follow it. You turn your apponents energy against them." Aang lit up. "That's like waterbending!" he said. Zuko nodded. "Exacly. My uncle learned this technique himself by studying waterbenders."
"So...have you re-directed lightning before?" Aang asked.
"Once. Against my father," Zuko said.
"What did it feel like?"
Zuko stopped moving his arms in practice. "Exhilerating," he said with a smile."But terrifying. You feel so powerful holding that much energy in your body. But you know that if you make the wrong move, its over."
Aang chuckled nervously. "Heh. Well, not over over, right? There's always Katara and a little spirit water action...am i right?" Then i gave Aang the bad news. "Actually i used it all up after Azula shot you." i wished i hadnt of used it all. That water works miricals! "Oh," he said. Zuko spoke to him seriously. "You'll have to take the Fire Lords life-before he takes yours."
Aang scratched to back of his neck. "Yeah...i'll just do that," he said nervously. Zuko walked out of the courtyard. After a few seconds of waiting, i followed him (i didnt want Aang to think i was following him...even though i was).
"Hey," i said when i caught up to him. He didnt say anything. "Is something wrong?" i asked. He still didnt answer. i shook his arm. "Zuko!" i shouted. Then he looked at me with a dazed look in his eyes. "Oh...w-what?" he stammered. i stared at him with confusion. "Is something wrong?" i said louder and clearer. "i was thinking," he said while still looking down at me. "I was thinking...what if Aang doesnt come back? What if he looses?" i put humor on him. "I thought you wanted him to be dead?" i asked with a giggle. Zuko's eyes widened. Then he began to look angry. "How could you say that?!" i put a worried expresion on my face. i put my arms in front of me and pushed him away; he was so close to me. "Its okay! i was only teasing, Zuko." He smiled. "I know." i pushed him and laughed.
Then i moved closer to him; so close my chest was against his. He had his arms around my waist and i had my hands on his shoulders. "I love you," i said. "I love you, too," he said back. i put a smile on my face. "Wanna go love me in my room?" i think i was flirting. He didnt say anything but i could tell by his expresion that he wanted to. i broke free of his grip and grabbed his hand. i went running inside with him. We didnt pass anybody-thank goodness-and we were as fast as could be. Once we were in my room Zuko slammed the door and locked it. Then he took hold of me and we kissed to no end.

It was dusk. All of 'Team Avatar', as Sokka had reffered to us before, was gathered at a rocky part of the beach-but beach-go-ers didnt live or play in that area so we were safe. It was almost like a very rocky cliff. Who would want to play there?
Sokka had set up a scarecrow with a melon with an evil face on it. What was he planning to make us do? "Gather round Team Avatar," Sokka said. "In order to defeat the Fire Lord, or in this case, the Melon Lord, or timing has to be perfect. Suki and i will draw his fire, then Katara and Zuko will charge in with some liquidy-hot offence, and while the Melon Lord is disttacted Aang swoops in and 'BAM!', he delivers the finale blow." Toph questiond Sokka. "Err...what about me?"
"For now, you're the Melon Lord's forces," he said. Toph smiled with glee.
"So i get to chuck flamming rocks at all of you?"
"What ever makes the training feel more realistic." Toph kept smiling.
"Sweetness."
We all went to our stations when everything was set up. "Muhahahahaha!" Toph laughed evilly. Zuko and i watched her as we waited for Sokka's signal. We stood close together. His hand was in mine.
Then Sokka gave us the signal. Me and Zuko charged up the steep earth ramp that had been formed over time. We fought off all of the stone men that popped up and all of the flamming rocks that came hurdaling towards us. But the one moment when about eight men came up...it was special. We were working together and it made me feel good. Me and Zuko were stronger together that we were apart. Stronger. And i would always remember it.
We slashed through stone men...together...stronger...
i watched as Aang ran from his spot and jumped to the Melon Lord. He had his staff in hand and was ready to bust the melon up...but he didnt.
"So...have you re-directed lightning before?" Aang asked.
