5SOS: Ellen Show update & Luke Hemmings reveals EP news!

5 Seconds Of Summer have jetted to LA for a performance on The Ellen Shopw later this week but there seems to have been some confusion over the date and time of their appearance.

Ashton Irwin, Calum Hood, Michael Clifford and Luke Hemmings will meet with Ellen DeGeneres tomorrow, Wednesday 5th November, and will put on a special mini concert for the former American Idol show in her LA studio. They’ll also be sitting down with the star for a chat and a chin wag about their tour plans, their next record and the craziness of their career so far.

However, the band have pointed out to fans who were getting their hopes up and assuming they could watch the segment tomorrow, that the Ellen Show appearance won’t actually air until Thursday of this week. They tweeted:

“5SOS performs on Ellen Wed Nov05.. but the show airs Thurs Nov06 #5SOSONELLEN pass it on! #vote5sos ”

Meanwhile, Luke Hemmings has revealed that there will be an extra special surprise on their new EP when it’s released later this year. The record will have an acoustic version of new single Good Girls and the hunk tweeted:

“There’s an acoustic version of ‘Good Girls’ on the physical copies of our EP, it comes out in two weeks ! #5SOSGOODGIRLSEP”

5SOS will also be headlining their own series of stadium shows starting later this month and they even have their own support act! Instead of taking to the stage first, as they did all the way through the recent One Direction tour, they will be supported by opening act The Veronicas.
