My toe will not heal...

The same thing happened to me back when I was 11 years old. I never got it checked, but I'm pretty sure it was broken. I did nothing about it and hurt like hell the first few months. After a while you get used to it, though. It will take about 10 months to heal if it's the same as mine, but it does get better eventually. If you do regular activities as if your toe is fine, then it will become a lot less noticeable in a few weeks. Just be slightly more careful about hitting it on anything, because that will make it feel broken all over again. Get well soon!
