Many studio executives and production company top brass have been more than a little interested in acquiring the rights to a certain true-story film about two of the most infamous criminal brothers in American History. But none other than five-time Grammy Awards nominee Akon owns the rights to the film. This hot commodity has been the buzz of the hip-hop world, and after a very popular rapper made a reference to the story, everyone seemed interested in making a movie about the two "Brothers In Crime", but they couldn't, due to Akon having sole ownership of the film rights.
Now Akon has partnered with influential film and television producer JoJo Ryder of Untouchable J Productions to make this project a reality. Ryder brings his expertise and resources to the table, being able to personally interview family members and associates of the criminal team, gather facts and information, and details about all parties involved in the true story about the two brothers and the biggest crime family in United States history.
Akon has been waiting for just the right fit in a producer for the film and JoJo Ryder was the answer. With far reaching contacts throughout the hip-hop world, JoJo Ryder was approached by Akon and entrusted with the task of compiling the compelling stories and experiences of the people who lived the real live crime drama that has Hollywood buzzing.
