“Oops, I probably haven’t mentioned that!” Lilly said, “But I do remember this - Marlene and you were the ones below me in the Cheerleading Pyramid during Last Year’s Football Game… All of a sudden, you and I both fell off…” She told Bandit, remembering a Scene from that Day.
“Yeah… and you were on the Top - the only Flyer!” Bandit reminded, slowly collecting more evidence, “However, I felt something hit me really hard on my Leg back then. It was this Rock that made me fall… causing you to fall hard and injure yourself!” She said, holding out a Shiny Black Rock from her Purse.
Lilly examined the Rock suspiciously in her Flippers.
“Goodness, this is a Rock from Ivory’s 'Stone Collection'!” Lilly exclaimed, surprised.
“So?” Amber asked curiously, “What could this possibly mean?”
“No doubt about it!” Bandit began, and then paused for a minute, “Wait a Second! I think I just realized… Ivory must’ve Sling-shot my Leg while on the Cheerleading Pyramid so that Lilly, who was on top of me, will fall off and break her Leg! Now it is as clear as Day to me… This Rock IS from her Collection, isn't it? And all I can say is that this Rock was thrown at me with a Sling-shot… Otherwise how could it have come at such a Speed from the Bleachers?” She got to the point, remembering the tragic Event.
“I KNEW it was not just an Accident!” Amber growled, “That Ruthless Saber-Tooth!!! She won’t get away with this!”
“But why?” Tressa asked, “Why would she want to hurt Lilly on purpose?”
Lilly, then, thought for a while.
“Oh My God! I had an Argument with Ivory the Day before… and she just wouldn’t get over it!” Lilly added, and then turned to Bandit, “You’re a genius Criminal-Finder, Bandit!”
“Thanks!” Bandit said with a smile, “See? I come in Handy, baby!”
All the Girls giggled. Bandit was pretty good at Investigating and Solving problems. Not 'Pretty Good'... 'Pretty Talented'!
“So… how did you Girls make it through the Tryouts?” Lilly asked Tressa and Kaitlyn.
The Cousins froze. How were they gonna tell Lilly that they Replaced her? What if she breaks down in Tears?
“Uh… you see Lilly… We needed to make a Temporary Replacement of you, and Tressa earned everyone’s Votes. But Tressa begged me to have Kaitlyn on the Team as well… So now we have 2 New Members!” Amber explained everything to Lilly instead.
Lilly seemed a bit saddened at the News.
“Replacement?” She asked quietly.
“Don’t worry, Lilly!” Lexii said, “Just because there are 11 of us, doesn’t mean we don’t have Room for you yet!”
Lilly’s Eyes lit up in Surprise.
“Really?” She asked.
“Yeah… You can still Rejoin the Team if you want!” Emma stated.
‘What am I supposed to do? What if I take back Lilly and Boot Kaitlyn and Tressa off of the Squad? They are just Replacements, after all!’ Amber wondered, ‘Or would I keep Tressa and Kaitlyn in the Squad and tell Lilly that there’s no Room for her? Now that’s a tough decision to make!’ She thought, feeling rather confused.
“I’d Love to go back to Cheerleading again!” Lilly sighed heavily, “It’s been so long…”
“I guess… Now there are 12 of us…” Amber announced in her ‘Official Voice’ again, changing her mind.
“Thank you so much, Amber!” Lilly hugged her Friend happily, “And… Since I’m all well, I can get back to School tomorrow!”
“YAY!!!” Catherina cheered.
All the Girls stared at Catherina.
“Uh, I mean… Oh, I hope you feel better soon!” Catherina said in a Fake Serious Tone.
Later, the Girls left Lilly’s House, after having such a Good Time with her. They couldn’t wait to see their Friend at School again…
Outside Emma’s House:
That Night, Marlene dropped Lexii and Tressa to their Homes, after coming back from Lilly’s House. Marlene drove to Emma’s House and parked the Car on the Road, as Emma got off.
“See ya’ soon!” Marlene waved, driving away.
“Bye!” Emma waved back.
She waddled towards the Door of her House and realized that her Best Friend Ryan had been waiting outside.
“Ryan?! What are you doing here?” Emma asked, surprised.
“Emma? You’ve been outside? I thought you were at Home and I’ve been waiting for you all this time to open the Door! Man, I'm such a Dork!” Ryan said, giggling in embarrassment. He felt really stupid!
“No, I've been at Lilly's for a while! I guess you needed to see me?” Emma asked curiously, trying to find out why he’s been standing at the Door for a long time.
“Emm, we’ve got a Project to be working on, remember?” Ryan reminded her, “That’s why I’ve brought these!” He showed her the Books and Charts he’s been carrying in the Bag.
“Oh, I totally forgot!” Emma replied, taking her Keys from her Purse and opening the Door. The Two quickly waddled inside…
