The following are love letters I wrote to my anime crushes and posted on Facebook one at a time.

For Wolfwood, I was writing about the anime version, not the Plant worshipping manga one.
These are in the order I posted them, but not in any particular order as to how much I love each one of them.

My darling Sven...I love your green hair, your mismatched eyes, your psychic powers, your briefcase full of inventions, your sense of chivalry..oh wait, you're an anime boy (or man) and therefore fictional. Just quit your smoking habit, 'k? (Sven Vollfied is a character in the anime "Black Cat".)
Ah, Sousuke! In all matters but the military, thou art but an innocent. How I love thee! Listen to thy common sense more than thy wartorn instincts, and maybe thou shalt win the hand of the fair young maiden that thou protecteth.

Daisuke, Daisuke, Daisuke. You look short but maybe that's from standing so close to tall J. Doesn't matter--you've got a big heart. You forgive and befriend your enemies, but you can sure kick butt when necessary. What's not to love? Come home soon; Kyoko is waiting for you.

Spike, you were the first anime guy in my life, and my first bad boy. You didn't like pets or theme parks, two things I love dearly, and you thought you were too cool for everything, yet I still love you, for your rough charm, good looks, & sexy voice outshine your bad points. I just wish you would have taken better care of yourself. RIP, Spike Spiegel.

L, what goes on in that mysterious mind of yours? Do you even notice women at all? Never mind. Let us go on a picnic together and feast on candy and pastries. Ban & Ginji-the two of you are as close as friends can be. The affection in Ban's eyes when he looks at Ginji, and the adoration in Ginji's eyes when he looks at Ban fills my heart with joy. Don't let anyone ever come between you, even a woman. Just be BFF!

Gawl, I love your Keanu-esque looks & your sweet innocence. Masami was wrong to call you a pervert--you're anything but! And you watch out for your friends. With all that protecting the world stuff you do, it's no wonder you eat & sleep so much. It's okay! Give yourself a break.

Nicholas D. Wolfwood--handsome priest. With your weapons you protect the weak. You'd be called a hero if you didn't stand so close to pacifist Vash, who makes you look bad, but you're not bad at all. You kneel before God & ask his forgiveness. What makes me love you so much? Is it your love for Milly & Vash? Or is it just your unorthodox take on Christianity?
