A short girl and tall guy were going out of an old ladys house,dressed in these blue kimono type outfits,the girl holding a sword,while the guy has a blue ring on his finger.

"Now,you guys,dont get yourselves killed tonight."The old lady says.

"Ill try to protect Naomi,Obaasan."The boy says.Naomi jumps and gives him a hard stare.

"I dont need anyone protecting me,got that Yosuke.Im perfectly fine by myself."

Naomi is still giving him a harsh stare and suddenly someone hits her in the head,making her fall down and cover the part of her head she got hit at.

"Now now no fighting Naomi!Hes just saying he'll protect you if you get hurt or something,got it."She starts giving Naomi a harsh glare.

"Oh,hehe,g-g-got it,Obaasan.Ill protect him to if that happens."Naomi looks nervously at her Grandma.She suddenly hits her cane on the ground.

"All right!You guys go kill the Warui tamashī and come back safely."Obaasan demanded.

"Right!"And they run off to the town.



"Yosuke,why did you have to say that?"Naomi whinned while they were walking down another street.

"Say what?"He asked.

"The,"She says it in a deep voice,as close as she can get to his,"'Oh,ill protect Naomi,dont worry.'"

Yosuke laughs.

"That was the worst impression ever by you."He keeps laughing hard while Naomi blushes and turns away.

"So?Its not like you dont sound like that."Naomi still looks away while Yosuke stops laughing and looks at her.

"But i dont."Yosuke replied.

Naomi starts mumbling to herself until they feel an energy.

"Oh,look,we found one."Naomi pulls out her sword while saying that.

Yosuke ring starts to glow as the monster is getting nearer.

"Are you ready?"Yosuke asks Naomi."Youve been slacking off the last couple days and letting it hurt you."Naomi falls down(not like shes hurt or anything).

"I havent really been.....'slacking off'.Ive been trying my hardest....hehe."Yosuke looks at her and sighs.

".....You need more training with Obaasan then."

Naomi jumps up and panics.

"I do not!Look,if i defeat this one all by myself,i wont okay and if i dont-"Naomi senses the monster and jumps up on a tree before it could hit her.Yosuke smiles.

"Okay!This one can be all for you,and remember the bet!"He yelled to her.

"Yayaya!"She sighed as she gets her sword again.The Warui tamashī was fat and had a huge mouth.it was green,slimy,and pretty much looked like a huge caterpillar.It looked at Naomi closely.

"Ah,a Kyūseishu,how nice.A good dinner indeed."It laughed.She just stares at him.

"Ew,it all slimy and gross...."The Warui tamashī stopped laughing and gave her a glare.

"How dare you!You will be punished for that!"The Warui tamashī jumped up and jumped on the tree.Naomi jumped off of it before she got squished,and,when she landed,she got squished by the thing.

"I am not gross!I am beautiful."It says.Naomi hears that and jumps.

"Wait....youre a girl soul?"Naomi shivers.The Warui tamashī looked down at her.

"Yes i am little girl!What did you think i was a guy?Psh."Naomi thinks and suddenly has a grossed out look on her face.

"EWWWWW!GET OFF ME YOU GROSS BEAST!"Naomi yelled.

"Hey,Naomi,do you need any he-."Before he could finish,the monster starts screaming and shrinking.Before it did,Naomi got out with slime all over her and most of her sword.When she did,the thing started decinigrating.

"Now,Naomi!get it into your sword and kill it before it reforms again!"Naomi looks up at him and starts yelling.

"I know what to do dumbass!"Naomi yelled at him while he was on a rock.

"Then do it!"

"I am,DAMMIT!"Naomi points her sword at the thing and her sword starts to shine while its sucking the things ashes in.When it finally finished,she looked at Yosuke.

"HA!I TOLD YOU I COULD DO IT!Now then,what was that bet?"Naomi asked.Yosuke sighs.

*The only reason she could do it is because it was a weak one.The others weve faced so far were stronger.I dont know how shes going to hold up when we might fight another one of us....*

"Hey,Yosuke!You coming?"Naomi yelled at him while she was on the road again.

"As soon as that goo is off of you,ill be happy to,but for now,im going the other street."Yosuke walks on the next street.

"Well....fine!I didnt need you anyway!"Naomi starts walking and mumbling to herself until she got to her house.




Naomi finally gets up to the door.

"Finally....Huh?"She tries to open the door but it was locked.Obaasan and Yosuke looked out the window and saw who it was.

"Sorry Naomi,but we cant let you in until you take a bath and get that slime off of you."Obaasan told her.

"But where can i get it off at?"Naomi asked.

Obaasan pointed over to the lake right behind their house.Naomi gave her a glare.

"But i dont like that lake!"Naomi yelled at her guardian.

"Either do that,or never come inside."Obaasan and Yosuke closed the blinds and went to bed,and,as for Naomi,she sighed and went to wash up at the lake.
