My very very first anime was bayblade but i dont remember it soo mıch so i count fullmetal alchemist brotherhood as my first anime and i watched the anime first^_^
Actually, when I first got into anime, I thought that "manga" was just another word for it. It was one day when I was browsing Yahoo! Answers where someone linked the Death Note manga in an answer, and I found out what it actually was. x)
Even so, my first manga was Black Cat. Death Note was the fifth or sixth manga that I started reading.

You're not the only one xD I thought manga and anime were the same thing too, until my friend told me. I'm on Death Note episode 28 and I guess I'm not that in to it anymore because after L died everything just got not intresting
Amnesia was my first one and I didn't read the manga or even know at the time if there was one or not! But now I'm trying to read manga before I watches anime! I also have to say that I'm glad I choose Amnesia as my first one because it was amazing... great music, great characters, great animation and great story... If anyone out there didn't see it, please watch it. Great ending!
My first anime was Hamtaro. My friend showed it to me and my brother when I was very little. I only watched the anime. The anime that made me hooked on anime was Lucky Star.
