What anime you think can really teach to people in real life such as attitude,behaviour,karisma and lot of positive characterisms so that we are earn right to be better human in future though we maybe worst at first.
~A lot of people only see it as a slapstick comedy, domestic violence, a gag show/parody and has rude characters... But if you would read between the lines you'll see this anime has a lot of deep life lessons that can relate to just about anyone, no matter what status you are in life.

Actually,I pretty heard lot about this anime but not cross in my mind to watch it as at that time I just into more romance genre.Still thanks for your reference!
Actually it goes both ways but female on male is more common but you still have Gintoki beating Sa-chan in multiple episodes for stalking him and also hitting kagura when she does something stupid ⌐w⌐ But still the female characters in Gintama are monstrous so yeah XD
