What's your favorite cyberpunk anime?

Cyberpunk is a genre of anime that was especially popular in the 90's, a subgenre of scifi that centers around the idea of "high tech, low life". It's often characterized by hackers, gangs with tricked out technology, the existence of cyberspace, a dystopian city lit with neon, and a political or social change that takes place in the story.

My favorite cyberpunk anime would be Akira, though the manga is fantastic as well. What's your favorite cyberpunk anime and why?
