"-Sigh- I wish the only person i knew here wasn't my father," Kaylee thought, sitting alone on a bench watching the others have fun. Then, Kaylee heard a voice. "Hey, are you ok?" she looked up, their was a girl standing in front of her, she had short blonde hair, brown eyes, pale skin, and was wearing a red vest, a black shirt, and a gray skirt. "I'm alright," Kaylee responded. "I'm Miranda, whats your name?" Miranda asked. "I'm Kaylee," Kaylee said. "Do you want to be my friend? You seem lonely," "Its just that, i don't know anybody, i'm new. But sure, we can be friends," Kaylee said, as she looked down at her feet. "Thats ok, you don't need other friends, you got me now!" Miranda said, adding a big smile. "Thanks," Kaylee said, standing up to face Miranda. *bell rings* "Shall we go to class?" Miranda asked, holding up her arm. "Sure," Kaylee said, skipping off to class with Miranda with linked arms.

*after school at home*

"Hey! How was your first day?" Chloe asked as she watched Kaylee walk through the door. "IT WAS GREAT! I MET THIS AWESOME GIRL NAMED MIRANDA! AND NOW WE ARE FRIENDS!" Kaylee shouted with excitement. Chloe got big eyes. "Weirdo", Chloe mumbled.

That night, while they were all tucked in bed, Jackie read a book, Chloe brushed her hair, and Kaylee wondered what tomorrow would be like. Would she make new friends? Would Miranda still be nice to her? "Only time will tell," Kaylee thought as she layed down, they all turned off the lights, and closed her eyes.
