Bonne-Bell This scene had slash fanservice written all over it. And not even good slash fanservice, it was so juvenille, contrived and forced that it made me cringe and I felt embarassed for the boys. Just when I thought that Merlin and Arthur's relationship was maturing and they bring it down to this foolishness. Well, I hope the slashers are happy. Some of them don't seem to care about character/relationship development as long as they get their homoerotic innuendos.

EPaws Juvenile, contrived forced thank you. No they completely turned back time but you are the type that would also see, that the energy was also not there. Something else to note in the scenes in question. Remember how both men would have a laugh with it and make it work? Have you noticed both went through the motions as in get this shit done and we can move on with the rest of it? Cause it was there and the most often made comment by several independent people who have followed the series from the start. It was just plain stupid. Sure I chuckled but equally I rolled my eyes. These two are comedy Gold, they can, the writers do so much better than that and show humour in the relationship. It sucked.

yawdy37 kbrand5333 I agreed with you all you believed that this particular scene was for one specific group of fans. I referred to this in a previous post. Two scenes were particular disturbing for me. This scene - I don't mind seeing Arthur's thighs; however, was it necessary for him to be rolling around on the floor with Merlin. Merlin couldn't have gotten the keys easily. Next scene - the one when Merlin was putting back the key and the cup fell. He was draped all over Arthur trying to retrieve the cup. Come one - this one was particularly geared to a specific fanbase. Other than those two scences - I like the episode.

Melisey I loved seeing him without trousers. LOL. But the scene was forced and immature. If I was a Merthur shipper I would be so disappointed. Because this scene was not sexy, even if Arthur is. This was a childish scene.

RosalynCabenson agreed. I laughed at first of course but then I said to my friend, slash shippers (the childish ones) are happy now LOL and I don#t like that. it was ridiculous and I just gave up to think about it...
