"What?! Ten silver pieces for a bag of apples?!" shouted Suka to the merchant.
"Look, we're having hard times here since The Conquerors invaded the Earth Kingdom! Take it or leave it!" snapped the merchant.
"Ugh!" grunted Suka. "Just because The Conquerors are taking over, doesn't mean the prices should go up!"
"Look, do you want it or not?!" snapped the merchant.
"Not with that attitude!" Suka snapped back.
"Look, it ain't pre-school here! It's the real deal!" yelled the merchant. "Now do you want those stickin' apples or not!?"
"Hmph! I rather get captured by the Conqueors, and be forced to breath water than paying for this ridiculous price!" snapped Suka and threw the sack of apples on the ground.
Miko leaned against a pole and toyed with an apple, and groaned.
"Can we leave now?" whined Miko. "I'm getting bored!"
Miko left Suka and started to walk around the market place, when he heard a loud shriek.
Miko followed the shriek, and it came from a girl. She was being robbed by a bandit.
"Let go of me!" she yelled.
"Your ain't goin' no where!" barked the bandit. "And if you try, I'll end ya!"
"Let go of her!" Miko demanded.
The girl's eyes focused onto his, her blue eyes were filled with tears and dispare.
The bandit laughed.
"Make me, ya wimp!" teased the bandit.
Miko threw a rock towards him,and it hit him neatly in the head.
The bandit growled, he shoved the girl away and walked up to Miko.
"Awright, you asked for it." said the bandit.
He drew two broad swords and aimed one of them at Miko.
Miko was going to fight back, but the bandit winced and fell foward.
The girl had hit the bandit with a pot in his head.
Miko stared at the girl, and got a better look at her.
She had white hair with braids and messy bangs, she wore a long green kimodo, her skin is lightly tan. She looked sixteen.
The girl looked at him back and smiled sweetly; Miko smiled back, only goofy looking.
"Um, thanks, for...saving me?" she decided.
"Heh, no problem! I've been though worse occasions than this!" he bragged.
The girl chuckled.
"I'm Yuki." she introduced herself.
"Miko!" he bluterted. "Miko, from the Southern Water Tribe!"
"Oh, I hear that place is really...cold." she mentioned.
"Yes! It is!" he confirmed. "Brrrr!"
Yuki laughed, so did Miko.
"So...got any plans this night?" Miko asked Yuki.
"Hmmm, not really, no." she answered.
"'Cause I was thinking that we could do something together...like...going to a Tea Shop, or at a Flower Shop, or--"
"How about I meet you tonight, by that old tree over there!" she interupted Miko, as she pointed at the old tree.
"Sounds good!" Miko agreed. "So, tonight?"
"Tonight." Yuki confirmed.
"So...see ya!" he said.
"See ya!" she chuckled.
Miko backed away, waving goodbye, and bumped into a wall. Yuki laughed as Miko said "excuse me" to the wall and started to leave.
So did Yuki.

"Where have you been, Miko?" asked Suka. "We looked for you all over the market place!"
"I was with somebody!" he answered cheerfully.
"Somebody, eh?" smiled Lee. "Was it a "girl" somebody?"
"Yes, yes it was." Miko answered, smiling.
"Who was it, Miko?" asked Kaya.
"Somebody amazing!" answered Miko. "Somebody marvilous! Somebody beautiful!"
He danced around as he said those words, everyone laughed.
"Are you going to see her again?" asked Hiru.
"By the old tree tonight." answered Miko as he ate an apple. "She said she's gonna meet me there."
"Awww! So cuuuute!" swooned Lin.
"You think everything is cute, Lin!" snapped Suka.
"But this is really cute!" explained Lin. "It's really cute when a boy likes a girl! So adorable!"
"And then you say you don't act like you're mom." mentioned Suka.
"Hey!" Lin complained.
Miko finished his apple and started to head towards his tent.
"Well, I would love to sit here and chat all day," he began. "But I've got things to do, ya know?"
And with that, he left the group.

Yuki gazed at the moon as she waited for Miko at the tree. Miko finally arrived and ran up to her.
"Sorry I'm late." he apologized. "I was bussy making this for you."
He showed her a deformed piece of wood, she looked at it.
"It's a fish." she said.
"Acutally, it's bear." Miko corrected. "But it doesn't matter as long as you like it!"
Yuki smiled, but then let out a heavy sigh.
"Miko, I appreaciate for you to come, but--"
"But what?"
"...It's just that...well..."
"You...don't like me?"
"No! I do like you! A lot, actually! It's just that--"
"I knew it. You already have a boyfriend, right?"
"No, it's not that. It's just...it's just...just...never mind, you wouldn't understand."
"Understand what? Tell me!"
"Forget it, I shouldn't have done this!"
Tears rolled down her cheek as she ran from him.
Miko just stood there confused, he frowned and threw the bear carving far away.
"Look, we're having hard times here since The Conquerors invaded the Earth Kingdom! Take it or leave it!" snapped the merchant.
