It was really early morning, when Courtney woke up. She yawned and looked at the clock.
-Ew, -said she to herself. -I don't need to wake up now. But I can't sleep more. Okay...
Courtney got up and took her favourite drumsticks.
-Tum-tum-tum, -said she, drumming with them on wall of her room. -It seems I have rhythm in my blood. I wonder, what's Barbie doing now? Where's my phone? I need to ring her up.
Courtney looked around and didn't saw her phone. She started to search for it, but she couldn't. She fell down into the chair and closed her eyes. Then, she heard ringing of her phone.
-That's it! -exclaimed Courtney and took it under her bed.
-Hello? -answered she.
-Good morning, Miss Star, -said female voice to her.
-Good morning. What did happen? -asked Courtney.
-We heard your perfomance in band Charmz. We'd like to hear you again, at our scene, -answered a voice.
-At your scene? Who are you? -said Courtney.
-I'm a consultant of "Young bands of America" contest. We'd like to present you at local TV, after our interview, -answered voice.
-Well, I'm agree. But will you tell me, when we're going to perform? -answered Courtney.
-You are? But I mean only you, Miss Star, not all the band, -said voice.
-Oh, that's is...well, call me later, please, -answered Courtney and quit the call.
In school, Courtney was more quiet, that she usually was.
-What did happen, Courtney? -asked her Barbie.
-Today I was called by somebody, who asked me to perform at young bands' contest, -answered Courtney and sighed.
-That's cool! What did you answer? -exclaimed Tia.
-I said, that I'll think about it. But Tia! They said- only me, not we are! -answered Courtney.
-Well...I'm glad that you'll think about your answer, -said Barbie.
At the break, Courtney take a motorbike and went at home.
-There was a call for you, dear, -said her father to her.
-Oh, seriously? -laughed Courtney.
-Yes! Something like bands' contest...oh well, I also perfomed at young bands' contest, when I was younger, you know, -said father.
-What did you say them? -asked Courtney.
-Oh well, nothing, -answered father.
-Can you imagine that, Regina? -said Raquelle to one of two her new "friends". -Courtney will never leave her band...or she's not?
-I'm not too sure about it, Raquelle. And what if she'll find out, that she was pranked? -answered Daisy, second of these new friends.
-How could she find it out? Everything is more than hidden for her, -answered Raquelle with laugh.
At the evening, the Charmz meet each another at their basement. And strangely, Courtney couldn't beat the drums good. Her drumsticks had falling down, and Barbie stopped the rehearsal.
-What's wrong with you? -asked she.
-I don't know. I can't stop thinking about that phone call, -answered Courtney. Then, her mobile phone had rang. Courtney answered:
-Oh! Good evening. I waited for your call.
Courtney left her drumkit and went out, talking. In the same moment, Kevin came in.
-What's wrong with you, girls? -asked he.
-It seems Courtney will leave us soon for solo career, -answered Barbie and they both sighed.
-Oh my! How could she? -exclaimed Kevin.
-I don't know. She's talking with them now, -answered Tia.
-But it's strange. Did you hear something about young bands' contest? -said Kevin. Girls didn't know.
-I need to find, who is Courtney talking with, -said Kevin.
-Woah! Tomorrow I'll play at the Contest! They said, they have big scene, lunch and drumkit called The Electra! Yay! -exclaimed Courtney, coming in.
-Courtney, who was it? -asked Kevin.
-It was a consultant of Young bands' contest! I'm going to play with the Strawberries! -screamed Courtney, took her drumsticks and ran to home.
-Oh...you see, she left us, -sighed Barbie.
-No-no! I'll talk with her, -said Kevin.
-But you saw that! -said Tia.
-You mustn't leave a hope, -said Kevin.
-We can go home, Tia- our rehearsal is failed, -said Tia.
At the next day, Courtney ran into classroom- she had late again. But when she asked, how is Barbie doing, she answered nothing. At the break, Courtney found, that Barbie and Tia are angry with her.
-What's wrong with them, Kevin? -asked she at Kevin.
-That's all because of your contest. Honestly, if it would be break-up of your band...at solo, no one of you would be good, believe me, -answered Kevin.
-But that's my chance for my career! -exclaimed Courtney.
-Well, you need to choice between your career and your friends, -answered Kevin and went out. Courtney signed.
At the evening, Courtney sat in her room with drumsticks in her hand- she was thinking.
And Raquelle, Daisy and Regina were sitting at garden and laughing. Kevin passed them by and heard them talking:
-You saw that? It seems they're already angry at each another.
-Now, we need to make Barbie angry. Who will call her tomorrow?
-I will!
Kevin was shocked and sad because he forgot to turn his camera on. He believed, that Barbie would believe him without proofs. But it failed:
-Raquelle making pranks? Oh come on. Her majesty Raquelle is mean, but she would never do pranks, -answered Barbie.
-Well, if someone would call you pretty early and would call you for contest- remember what I said, -answered Kevin and went for Courtney.
-It was so?! -Courtney was surpised.
-Yes. It's more than prank, it's cruel prank to break Charmz up, -answered Kevin.
-I'll go on contest tomorrow. I'd be pretty surpised if I was really pranked! Then, I'll kill her! -said Courtney.

In the day of next day, they met each another at the park.
-I was really called by someone, but she laughed so loud, that she was de-secreted in the same moment. It was Daisy, -said Barbie.
-Yes...and I was pranked. I came to cheap Chinese restraunt and saw nobody, except for thousand of waiters, -laughed Courtney. -I need to ask your forgiveness, girls! I thought, that I'd became rock star, as we always dreamed, but it was only prank. Could you forgive me?
-Could we, Tia? -asked Barbie. Tia nodded, and they hugged each another.
-But what we're going to do with Raquelle & the Meanies? -asked Barbie.
-It seems I have an idea...-laughed Courtney. At the next day, all clothes of Raquelle and her friends were covered with mustard and soy sauce. Raquelle was angry like hell, but Charmz and Kevin only laughed.
And even when Courtney was called by real producer, and he asked her to come for interview, Courtney answered:
-I will not came there without my Charmz.
And even producer refused to hear all the Charmz, they didn't think, that they became worse.
-We're better together, than separated, yes? -said Courtney.
