You can't force a friendship! It takes two to make friends, but it only takes one to end a friendship. In a way, a friendship is much like love, except it's platonic, of course. No romantic feelings involved, but still, a friendship is a very strong emotion. The bond of friendship between two or more people who are always there for each other is the strongest bond ever, but it can easily get broken, if a friend starts to feel like their friends are no longer by their side all the time. In your case, that's exactly what happened between you and your best friend. Your best friend got hurt by your actions, so they decided to end up your relationship by breaking your friendship apart. Unless you find a way to speak to your friend in person and explain to them what you meant, and to apologize to your best friend once again, your friendship may be gone forever. You obviously hurt your best friend so bad that they don't want to be your friend anymore. I have no idea what you did, or what you said, so I can't give you a more specific answer. Only you and you alone can save your friendship, but remember, your best friend has to accept your apology and start calling you their friend on their own. There's no way for you to tell somebody they have to continue being friends, unless they want to! Friendship is like a bridge, you know. Two or more people have to meet half way to put their differences aside. Friendship is a two-way street. You can't make somebody like you, or forgive you. Nobody can. You can only hope for the best and tell your best friend how you feel about your friendship. There's only so much you can do. Forcing a friendship is a bad idea, and it never works! If your best friend can't forgive you, then I can only suggest that you respect their wishes and move on. Find another best friend who will accept you the way you are, who would like you for being yourself, and who would enjoy spending time with you.
