Hi, everyone. I am feeling deeply hurt and heartbroken. I just need to get this off my chest. I will get to the essence of what has happened.
My father was being a jerk again. Since he was neutered last week, Hansel has been wound tight. I tried to explain that he has been restricted from activity, and some hormones are leaving his body, and that's messing with him. Of course, why should my father believe me? I only had two years of vet assistant class and shadowed at the local vet clinic twice. Anyway, this is the incident that helped me see the light. My father hates Hansel.
My parents were in the living room, watching TV. My father had a bowl of cereal. Hansel got on my mom, and he was biting her. He wasn't doing it to be mean. It's a playful behavior, but he often gets too rough. Anyway, my father tried to help me get Hansel off, and idiot that my father is, he didn't put down his cereal. Hansel knocked over the cereal, making a big mess. My father then spanked Hansel and shoved him in the crate. He said, "Something's gotta change, or he ain't staying!" I said, "If he's not staying, I'm not either!" I meant it! My father didn't even care. I attempted to go to stay with my paternal grandmother. My mom stopped me.
My father did apologize, but he's clearly not sorry. He later told Hansel that he was going to knock the shit out of him, his words, not mine. I wish I didn't have a father. I'd be better off.

Kayla requested me to write this, so here I go. I'm really sorry for what you're going through right now. I know what it's like to be an outcast, as I am one myself. It's painful and hard, but at the same time, it enables you to empathize with other outcasts.
I just would like to remind you that no matter what people say or think about you or your preferences, those are the very things that make you special. They are just clearly missing out on what matters most, and that's unconditional love. Don't ever change, Kayla. It would be heartbreaking if you did. Always remember that I and your other friends here love you for who you are.
And remember that you are never, ever alone. We're here for you and you have all our support, especially during difficult times.
Peace and love,
~Kelly 🌟🌟🌟
