I suggest the The Time Quartet by Madeline L'Engle:* A Wrinkle in Time, 1962
* A Wind in the Door, 1973
* A Swiftly Tilting Planet, 1978
* Many Waters, 1986
* An Acceptable Time, 1989

I also love the Redwall series by Brian Jacques. Some people may try to classify this as children's fiction, but I thoroughly enjoy them and I'm 41!

If you want a funny series, you could try the Georgia Nicolson series by Louise Rennison. The first book's called "Angus, Thongs, and Full-Frontal Snogging." They're hysterical :)

You might not want to read them in public, though. People tend to stare when you laugh out loud :)

I know these next ones were mentioned already... but they were AWESOME books and I HIGHLY reccommend them ^_^

Vampire Diaries (Series) - L.J. Smith
They're making a television series out of this and it starts on September 10th on CW18 ^_^

Vampire Academy (Series) - Rachelle Mead
This one was AMAZING.. the fourth one isnt out yet... but at the end of every book, you just want to go get the next one...

I know there's more books that I've read... but the problem is I can't remember the titles!! ugh... I've read so many books in this past year alone that I can only remember the book itself... I know what the cover looks like, but that's about it... lol

I hope this helped you out ^_^

The Maximum Ride series. I deeply love those book and I think that you would too. There are five books out now and the sixth one comes out next year. They're making movies for the series also.

I'm trying to get my dad to get me the rest of them.
