can anyone recommend a fictional novel that has a close group of friends in it.

I'm looking for a light read that has a goup of close friends in it.
the book doesn't have to be only about friendship.

Depends on your age and preferences. I wouldn't want to give a 5 year old book to an adult, or suggest one for that matter.
