I can't be. He thought. I saw him kill her right then and there.
Breeze noticed how Blake was just sitting there thinking.
"Are you okay?" She asked.
"Oh, I'm fine Breeze. Thank you." He responded.
"You don't seem okay." Her eyes sparkled with curiosity.
"I'm fine Breeze." He meowed as a calm as he could.
"Alright, alright. Hey, I was wondering if I could go on my first ever hunting mission?" She asked sweetly.
"I guess...Stay close to the camp. DON'T go near, or in, and other Clan's territory." He warned. "They'll eat you."
"Other Clans- they'll eat me?" She mewed.
"No," He laughed. "I'm just teasing.
"Blake," She meowed. "If I'm sisters with Buttercup, doesn't that make me your aunt? Even though I'm younger than you?"
"Not necessarily." He said. "Because your WAY younger than me."
"I'm only a week old!" She laughed.
"Go on," He said. "Good luck!"
Breeze smiled and headed off to outside the camp. She squeezed outside the entrance, and looked around. She sniffed the air and caught a strange scent. 'Must be a vole, or adder.' She thought.
An hour went by, and Breeze was quietly looking for prey when suddenly a orange cat leaps out of the bushes and pins down breeze. "Ouch, what the heck do you think you're doing!?!!" she shouted at the cat.
"You are trespassing on MidnightClan territory!" the cat said as he cut Breezes arm.
"Gah, how DARE you cut me!!!" Breeze said.
She kicked the cat off her and cut his stomach and practically bit his neck off. They continued fighting for a while and both got covered in blood. Breeze pined down the cat and dug her claws into his sore neck. "SURRENDER OR DIE!!!!!!" she shouted.
The cat had to surrender because he was in so much pain.
"What is your name!!" Breeze shouted.
"My name is Dexter of MidnightClan!" The cat said.
"Oh yeah? Well I'm Breeze of FireClan and let me warn you to NEVER get me angry again." Breeze said as finally calmed down. "What the heck are you doing out here anyway?"
"I was just going for a walk, I don't really fit in with my clan, I am a LOT smarter than the rest of my clan members and some of them even call me a know-it-all." Dexter pouted.
"... Well you can join my clan, if Blake lets you, most of the people there are really nice and we have been low on Clan members ever since we were attacked." Breeze offered.
"Sure I'd be happy to!" Dexter piped.
"Even though I almost killed you- are you a kit?" She asked.
"Not really. But I'm not full grown." He said.
"Same here." She peeped. "You know, for a know-it-all, your kinda...'cute.'"
Er, let's go back to my camp so I can let them know I'm leaving." He suggested.
"No." Breeze said walking back.
"No?"
"No."
"Yes?"
"No."
"No?"
"Yes- er, no."
Dexter chuckled.
"What are you laughing at?" She hissed.
"Er, nothing." He looked away.
He likes me, I know he does. All boys stutter and look away when they like a girl. Breeze thought. I think I like him too.
Brock saw them.
"Breeze?! What are you doing?!" Brock hissed.
"Ur, trying to kill this intruder!" She meowed quickly.
Dexter showed a fake smile and told the truth. "Actually, this is what happened: I saw Breeze and attacked her, but she fought back pretty well. She then asked me to join her Clan-"
"No! Pfft, no way!! Blake will never let him join!" Brock hissed.
"You don't know about that!" She growled.
"Um, yeah, I sure do!" He scoffed.
"UH, SHUT UP, BOTH OF YOU!"Dexter yelled.
"Fine, but if Blake says no, don't come crying to me!" Brock said.
"Fine." Breeze meowed madly.
The three went back to camp, and when Blake saw Dexter, he wasn't too happy.
"Who is this?" He asked hastily.
"I'm Dexter, used to be in MidnightClan-"
"MidnightClan, eh?! Why have you come here, you filthy-minded piece of fox dung?!" Blake hissed.
Dexter said nothing. He just looked down at his hurting paws. Maybe this Clan would never except him.
