Although there were not any scenes with both brooke and lucas together (brucas scenes) in tonights episode there was however plenty small signals to keep me satisfied and here i will share my opinions of them . ok first thing i noticed was the devistation in brookes face when peyton told her on the phone that her and lucas are engaged .... i mean here brooke is going through possibly one of the most horiffic situation in her life ...she is on the verge of loosing everything that she built the store the company to whomever stole the sketchs (victoria), the robbery / attack she is in pain physically and emotionaly and at that horribile time the first thing she hears from her best friend, the first person she tried to reach out to, is that her bf is engaged to the one guy who could make all this barable for her... if i was brooke i would have just broke down right then and there and by her facial expersion i think she did on the inside .... i mean what a time to get such bad news ....secondly when peyton and lucas came over to pack her things brooke stayed in her room this is of course because she doesnt want to face them together b/c she still loves lucas and despite what she says she isnt as ok as she makes herself out to be.

as for other bits of hope in this otherwise very depressing episode is the fact of jamie talking to lucas about his past loves he askes if he was ever in love with haley and he automatically says no but when asked about if ever in love with brooke he doesnt deny it just states thats a long story.... if that isnt sufficient enough proff that brucas is still alive in lucas' heart i dont know what is plus his face said it all he always seems to get this goofy grin when talking about his past with brooke and i think that is because brooke is what makes him happy and feel like a better man and lucas as a character knows that , actually i think the writers of the show know that too thats why they always bring these little clues up i dont think it will ever be game over for brucas! .... another example of this is when he tells skills about the engagement skills says he will wait to celebrate till he proposes to brooke as well.... hopefully because like us he knows that it will happen eventually !!!

Like i said earlier there wasnt much for us brucas fans in this episode but depite that their love is so undeniable that it breaks through other storylines as well, which was proven in tonights episode. i hopeing for good thing in the future for both brucas and brookes character in general she is a strong person and i know she will pull through and who better to help her through than lucas cross your fingers and hope to see that very thing next episode!!!!
