As Evan opened the door of the hospital cameras blinded his sight and several microphones were forced in his face.
“Mister Trumble, can you tell us what happened with Miss Gregor?” a woman with chestnut brown hair asked. Evan turned to her.
“My fiancée has been through a lot. She will need time to recover” he said. He tried to walk past the crowd, but they blocked him and again several microphones blocked his sight.
“Mister Trumble, word has it Miss Gregor is suffering from memory loss. Is this true?” the woman with the chestnut brown hair asked.
“Like I said, Erin will need time to recover” Evan repeated. “I will give a press conference when she’s better, but for now I’m asking all of you to be patient”
He forced his way out of the crowd.
Sam, who was taking a break from his car maintaining activities, frowned as he recognized Evan’s face, though he didn’t recall how he knew him. “Hey, Jo, can you increase the volume?”
Jo pushed the button on the remote control, while Sam walked to the door leading to the barn. He opened it and made a summoning signal at Dean.
“What?” Dean snapped cranky.
“You have to come see this” Sam insisted. Dean rolled his eyes and followed Dean inside the kitchen.
“Now, what is it?” Dean asked impatient. Sam pointed at the screen. “That guy. He looks so familiar” he said. “Yeah, he should” Dean replied sharp and bitter. “He tried to get Cas convicted for child rape, remember?”
Now Sam remembered. Evan Trumble was Daphne’s attorney.
“They say they found his wife. She’s been missing for years”
“Good for them” Dean frowned annoyed.
“They found her at the side of the road, not a scratch on her” Sam continued. “And she doesn’t remember anything. Don’t you think that’s weird?”
“Yeah, sure” Dean shrugged. He knew what Sam was getting at, but he refused to give in. But Sam wasn’t going to give up that easy.
“Dean, this could be a case” he said, starting to get excited. Sam never thought it possible, but without the hunts and the killings, his life has become rather boring. “It can’t hurt to ask the woman a few questions, can it?”
Dean walked to Sam. “I am not going back to Colorado. If you need to go back to putting your life on the line, go ahead, I’m not stopping you. But keep me out of it”

The door of Meg’s motel room opened and Meg stared at the door way. She was still stuck under the Key of Solomon.
“Anna told me you were innocent for a change” Sam said.
“Well, now that you’ve discovered I’m actually a saint, could you get me out of here?” Meg suggested. Sam shook his head and walked towards her, though kept a safe distance. “First I want to set a few things straight. Castiel is not going to leave prison, unless you do something. Personally, I don’t care if you killed that man or not. What I do care about is that you’re the only one who can get him out of there” Sam said.
“Why would I help him? What’s in it for me?” Meg wanted to know.
“If you do the right thing, then I guarantee you Dean and I will never try to kill you again. You’ll be off our radar for good” Sam said.
That was a tempting offer. “What do you want me to do?” she asked.
