The first bomber for CC fans!!
The first bomber for CC fans!!
My fellow fans, my dear friends, I’ll say goodbye! After this article, everyone in this club will resent me and hate me forever! Yet I ‘m going to be a journalist so I shouldn’t be worrying about that. I must dare to write this!
I’ve watched House ever since it came out, and I was very emotionally involved with the characters ever since it had started. And certainly Chase has always been my ultimate favorite character in House, so to some of you that might sound biased, or bizarre and twisted to come from a CC fan. But I have to let it out!
Anyways, I’ll stop stalling and get it over with: I think that CC’s relationship was a major failure, won’t say from the beginning but somewhat halfway through… or really from the start. Before you eat me, please let me represent my point of view.
So I have been watching season six and seven the while before, and I’ve noticed something weird about Chase’s behavior after Cameron had left. It startled me at first that I felt this way, but when I thought it over I found it very natural. Somehow, Chase seemed happier and more refreshed after Cameron left. Now despite the fact that he was questioning the relationship in (Private Lives), and the fact that he’s been fooling around with women in season seven (yes I say fooling around because I’m polite!) he seemed much, much better than around Cameron.
At first I was as upset as you guys were about Cameron turning her back on Chase in (Teamwork) and if I had seen her right that instant I would have growled at her, I almost did at my TV!
So why is Chase happier without Cameron? I’ll give you quite a few good reasons.
1-    Things were pretty amusing for them in season three with the whole friends with benefits thing, and Chase’s ultimate “It’s Tuesday”, so it was pretty much a great beginning for them, and you simply couldn’t resist not falling in love with them. Even when Chase requested for more and Cameron declined it wasn’t a reason to hate her, it only showed how afraid of commitment she was. Particularly in (Act Your Age) she knew that she was developing feelings towards him and that’s exactly why she drove him away. She was afraid to be emotionally involved with anyone. She was messed up before her dead husband, let alone after him. But she decided to take a chance and gave us the beautiful scene in (Human Error). However that problem was never really solved. It was just forgotten for now, and somehow we always feel that she wants Chase to make a mistake and give her a reason for a break-up. That, of course, was subconsciously developing in her head.
2-    We don’t have much CC in season four, so whatever was going on, it seemed peaceful... sort of. At least I hope they had stayed stable without problems or break-ups for a while.
3-    The CC relationship was sentenced to fail in season five. *waits for the endless hater to soak up in every CC fan towards her* yes, season five. Despite the wedding of which I was thrilled about as much as all CC fans were, they were completely and utterly messed up! Yeah, you can hate me, but I got to take it out of my head! In (The Itch) we see how much Chase is suffering from the wall that Cameron builds between them. And according to Cameron’s personality I really don’t think it was a thin wall, but not that thick either. It doesn’t really matter, because there was one, thin or thick, tall or short, it wasn’t pretty. It never is. And we see how Chase is reasoning quite rationally that when she came back to him for the surgery she knew for sure that he wouldn’t do it, yet she asked him just to have a reason for a fight. That was the first CC relationship altering problem. She always wanted a reason to be mad at him. That of course bothered Chase. In (saviors) we see them more emphasized as well as their problems. She screwed up their vacation just because she saw a proposal coming. She didn’t want it, never did, that’s why she wanted him to break up with her not the other way around, so she wouldn’t feel guilty or stupid for doing so. She is, was, or will always be (whatever the right tense might be here) afraid of commitment. Honestly, I don’t know how Chase agreed to propose to her in the end of the episode, all I wanted to do was slap her. Afterwards we had another break up! Seriously, what kind of relationship is that? Another break-up because again she wasn’t sure about him and refused to give up her husband’s sperm. But they worked it out and they got married…. Pointlessly!
4-    Season six is ultimately the worst. Actually I was not shocked when I learned Jennifer Morrison was leaving the show, which meant Cameron leaving Chase. It was depressing, but not shocking, whatsoever. Why? Because of all the previous reasons! Many fans blamed it on the Diballa story line, but I believe the writers are so much smarter than that. Diballa was only her “get-away” reason. It wasn’t the reason, just as Chase said in (Lockdown) it was a contract that knew no particular end that’s why she dropped out of it as soon as the first opportunity occurred. And trust me I hate the episode (Teamwork) so much. Not just the part that Cameron left, but the whole episode is messed up!
So there’s the end of the great CC relationship! Why should we say it’s a good relationship? Even if we think they’re good and cute together, their relationship is not right! And frankly I’m all for Chase and Thirteen now. Something good might get out from that relationship!!! And honestly, I’m not sure that I want CC back.
Just to clarify something, I do love CC together but that doesn’t mean that they’re right together.
And I’ll be shot to death by you guys in a couple of minutes!!!
I'm sorry it turned out like that

Cameron's POV: "okay, lets go meet dad at the park so he can take you to his house." Melinda and Cheyenne always love going to see Chase.
Cameron thinks: I miss Chase, he made me feel
safe with him. I wish we never got divorced.

Chase's POV: "hi girls." Chase smiles and hugs his daughters. he thanks Cameron. she nods and gets in her car. Chase watches her drive away and thinks: I wish we never divorced. I miss her smile, her eyes, and her ring hand in mine......I still love you Allison Cameron
