Facts Pertaining To Live And Let Die
Facts Pertaining To Live And Let Die
Released at the height of the 70s Blaxplortation film genre, The 1973 Bond film, Live And Let Die, was for approximately 7 million; in addition, to grossing $126,3777,386 worldwide, which was returned on a huge business investment. I'd seen this movie so many times I know every dialogue of the film by heart, and this is one of best Bond films I've seen seen in a long time since Roger Moore took over the role of the iconic superspy.

What I like about this particular Bond film is Moore's spin on the iconic superbly. Also, this is the first Bond to feature an interracial love scene between the British superspy and Gloria Hendry; in addition, to breaking the color barrier. The first time I"'ve seen this classic Bond film was when I was just 12 years old and I enjoyed it. Having been of James Bond film genre, I thought Sir Roger Moore gave the character somewhat of comical side; as well, as more sexy sophisticated side. Having stepped into the role of the iconic superspy, Roger Moore created the signature role with a new twist. His interracial onscreen love scene with co-star, Gloria Hendry was the first Bond film to feature an interracial love scene, Moore stated in an interview he's received a lot threats if that particular love scene was featured in the film, it was featured in the film, anyway.

The 1973 film, was the first film to feature an African-American antagonist, played by Yaphett Kotto. Their rivalry gets so intense with the racial slurs especially when Kananga learns that Bond and Solitaire one night of passionate lovemaking. As a result of Solitaire's betrayal she sentenced to execution, but that wasn't the case thanks to 007. This movie had a good storyline; in addition, to Sir Roger Moore's steamy love scenes with Gloria Hendry and Jane Seymour. Of The Bond films I've seen over the years, Live And Let Die is the best film marking Moore's big debut as the iconic superspy. In my opinion, he the more of a comedy twist; as well, as a more intimate sexy side to the character. If wants information from the ladies, Bond uses ways in order to get what he wants.

Maybe that why Sir Roger Moore was chosen to portray the iconic superspy. He had good sexual chemistry with his two beautiful female co-stars. One particular scene I like dead when The driver , which Felix Leiter sent to pick up Bond at the airport, was brutally murdered by Kananga's henchmen, Whisper, I'm the middle of the freeway in New York City. Bond somehow manages to drive the car from the backseat the driver's foot still on the gas hitting another car. Another scene I liked in this movie was when Kananga sent a snake which slithered through his bathroom window, Bond spots the him from the bathroom mirror. He takes his cigar and starts to mix it with his cologne, which becomes a makeshift flame thrower killing the snake instantly. That's the first time he meets Rosie Carver unaware she's a double agent, passing herself off as "Mrs. Bond".

In my opinion, this the best Bond film if all time. Every time I to see a good action film, I recommend this film to anyone who wants to see it.
