Halloween was DEFINETLEY in the air around the treehouse. Not just because of the decorations and Hoagie's corny jokes, but because Kuki, Kiki, and Wally were about as grumpy as a vampire who didn't get any sleep. Since last night's prank, Numbuhs 3 and 8 had been plotting to get back at Wally....and did so this morning: He woke up to Kuki's giant inflatable "Clownin' Around" Rainbow Monkey in his face. Kacey had entered the mission prep room with a big rolled-up piece of paper.
"Trick-or-treating plans?" Abby asked.
"Trick-or-treating plans." she answered. She rolled out the blueprints, and began to explain the big plan for tonight. Then she noticed Kuki and Kiki weren't in the room. "Numbuh 3 and Numbuh 8!!,"she shouted ", Get your butts down here NOW! We're going over plans for tonight!". Kiki walked in, still in her pajamas, with a bowl of Rainbow Munchies. Kuki, however, still wasn't anywhere to be found. "Numbuh 3!!!," Kacey shouted again, ",get your-". Then out of nowhere, Kuki sprung up in a clown costume, scaring the crud out of Numbuh 4. Both girls and Hoagie laughed hysterically. Abby just rolled her eyes.
"All right," Numbuh 7 started again, "Wally and I will take the Halloween Carnival...". Wally gulped. Carnivals meant clowns. "...Abby, there's been a significant increase of candy output from the houses in the woods...". Numbuh 5 has a concerned look on her face. Woods meant bears."...Kuki and Kiki, you take this neighborhood..." Kuki smiled, whereas Kiki flung some of her cereal at Wally. She giggled mischeviously as Kacey gave her a look. "And Megan, you take the old houses on Main Street". Megan's face turned white. Old houses usually meant ghosts. "What's Numbuh 2 gonna do?" Kuki asked.
He pulled out rolls of toilet paper and cartons of eggs.
"I'm goin' pranking!" he laughed.
Everyone rolled their eyes.
"All right, but you better stay out of Numbuh 5's candy stash if you don't get anything tonight." said Abby

7:00 PM. Trick-or-treating time. Kacey emerged wearing her hippie ensemble, Hoagie was going as what he called "Dr. Gilligan-stein", Kuki was going as a fairy princess, Abby was a lion tamer, Megan was a black cat, Wally was going as a vampire (go figure), and Kiki was still in the bathroom, fixing her makeup. "Come ON, Kiki!," Kuki whined, "We can't leave without you!". "You guys go on," she yelled down the hall, "I'll catch up!". About 5 minutes later, she came out in her werewolf costume. She grabbed her trick-or-treat bag and headed for the door. It was locked. "Very funny, Numbuh 4, now unlock the door." No response. The power mysteriously went out. "All right, Wally, if this is your way of punishing me-". Then a deep, scary, and evil laugh filled the air, "This isn't Mr. Beetles' way of punishing you...,". Kiki froze. She recognized that voice. ",...this is MY way of punishing you for tormenting him, you naughty little girl!".
Then everything went black.
When Kiki came to, she had a few things: a stinging sensation in her backside, a different outfit (black shirt, dark pink bottoms, and red-violet cape), pointy teeth, and an order: to punish ANYONE who was going pranking instead of trick-or-treating tonight. The first one that came to her mind? Hoagie P. Gilligan Jr.
