Skipper is my favorite character and the one many people say I'm like. I like being compared to Skipper, but I've found that his character is pretty easy to figure out as well. It makes a large variety of possiblities when he's the leader but his reactions are a bit alike at times. Skipper is not very complexed-which is okay- but it will 'cause a lot of writer's block when it comes to his starring role in an episode. He has a lot of potential now, but what of his future in the show? I hope that they've planned Skipper out, at least for awhile, so that they won't find themselves in a rut. Skipper would be an easy character to write yourself into a corner with and it would cause a great deal of problems.

Moving on to analysis of Skipper, the tough penguin makes for an interesting story. Though we have no idea what Skipper's past holds (I feel it should stay that way, at least in the show.) and his inner self. Though it is easy to dig through the surface of the character and look deep into him, I pray that there is another part of him inside that will make for a great twist and addition to the character. I hate to say it, but Skipper's character is very cliche- despite that it's probably suppose to be- I'd like him to have a more complicated core. Though Skipper's cliche is done very well and fits well with what he does, it's easy to see what he'll do. Directly or indirectly, this will make an ultimatium near the end of the series (that is if it isn't canceled). But hopefully the climax will make a great conclusion, though I'd hate to see the series end.

That brings me to the Skipper and Marlene pairing. Yes I like the pairing a lot and it works really well, but it's really cliche. The way I wish they'd do it is a two-side ending. Where one; we get the pairing and two; we get friendship. I hope that if they do go somewhat into the pairing in the show, that they'll make it a little more complicated. But complicated relationships, bring heavy down-pours of parental disapproval and that would rocket the show under. The best they could go with is have it at the end of the series. Sadly, in the end all things must take the same way down.
