Every little thing she did I noticed.

How she’d scrunch her eyebrows and bite her lip when she was concentrating.

Or how if she was wearing a necklace she’d play with it.

She wore red nail polish more than any of the other colors.

She always had her hands in the pocket of her black leather jacket.

She wore the blue hoodie most often.

She had crinkles by her eyes when she smiled.

She blushed real easy.

She always made eye contact with you when she talked, no matter who you wore.

How she seems to smirk every time she swears, as if thinks its funny thats what she’s saying.

How she’d laugh at her own joke before saying it out loud.

How she’d twist a strand of hair around her finger.

How she walked. It was like she was floating on air or something.

How she smiled.

At him.

And not me.

I was jealous of Soda. He had this amazing angel in front of him.

I know he likes her. I mean, who wouldn’t?

But I love her.

From that first day we met, I was in love with Y/N. Maybe it was that instant smile, or maybe her eyes twinkling.

But will be in love with her forever.

And I’m going to tell her today.

She just needs to know.

Which is why I offered to run to the grocery store with her.

“Which peanut butter should we get?” She asks, brining me out of my daze.

“Uhh.. The creamy kind.” I say, picking it up and handing it to her.

Our hands touch for a brief second, causing me to feel all those feelings again.

And she probably doesn’t feel it.

“Thanks,” she smiles, dropping it into the cart.

That smile was going to kill me.

“Y/N?” I start.

“Hmmm?” She says, looking to find the right cocoa for the famous chocolate cake.

“Umm, how you and Soda?” Shit that wasn’t the right thing to say.

“Ehh, same old same old.” She shrugs.

That wasn’t the answer I expected.

It was the perfect time to say it.

I grabbed her hand. She looked up at me, surprised.

“I like you.” Is all I manage to say.

She smiles back. “I like you too, Dal.”

“No I mean, I like you like you.”

Her smile turns to concern.

“I know you’re Soda’s girl and all,” I say quickly. “But I maybe, if you knew how much I liked you, I could change things.”

The look in her eyes killed me.

“Dally… I…”

The rest is up to you
