First of all, This is NOT some romantic movie. This is a VAMPIRE show, With blood and danger!!!
The main couple is should have a sexy and dangerous romance not a fairy tale romance!!!
For the Stelena fans that think Stefan and Elena have a perfect relationship (Always happy and never argue), No couple is perfect, Every couple agrues, It's not normal that they don't. It's almost like Elena depends on Stefan because he was there when she was depressed(After her parents death). He's her safe place and she's afraid to loose that. Im not saying that she doesn't love Stefan, I'm just saying i think she loves him more like a brother(Even though she doesn't know it yet). There is NO chemistry between them as a couple.
For the Stelena fans that think Stefan is perfect and Damon is not, Stefan is NOT perfect(Just watch 1x19 again)!!! I know Damon isn't either, But he doesn't bitch about it, He deals with it! Which is worse? Stefan almost ripping Amber apart to feed OR Damon dancing and partying with the collage girls to feed???(I Wouldn't mind too much being one of those collage girls! XD). Damon kills with a reason(Most of the time)! I really think he saw Jeremy's ring when he killed him(2x1), Did anyone think that maybe he was honetly trying to turn Jeremy to spare him from feeling the way Damon felt that night? Did anyone think when he tryed to kill Caroline that there was a purpose?
I did! They can't afford to have a vampire with no self control running around the town killing everyone!!!
And for the Stelena fans that think Stefan's new attitude is sexy, I think it's a complet turn off! Stefan just kinda snapped in "The return"! (Slapping Jeremy and Choking John) I didn't think he was Hot in the scene in the hosptal, I thought he was mean and crazy!!! the way Damon threatens someone(Manipulative),You don't really feel like it was a threat. The way Stefan threatens someone it just comes out mean!
As for the Stelena fans the say "Damon doesn't really love Elena, He is only obsessed with her because she looks like Katherine". Who said "I just HAD to know her"??? Why did Stefan just HAVE to know her? BECAUSE SHE LOOKS LIKE KATHERINE!!! Damon knew she wasn't Katherine and NEVER will be! So why does he still care about Elena now that he hates Katherine? BECAUSE he never compared her to Katherine! (He loves her for her. Just like in the bar in 1x22 "I like you better this way, the period look did not suit you." He didn't like that she looked so much like Katherine, Because she's not.)
And last but not least, The kiss!
She did NOT Shove him off of her, She only blocked him when he tryed to kiss her again!
If she didn't love him, She would not have been so upset(Almost crying) about telling him that she "loves" Stefan. He was right. She is lying.
And she hasn't mentioned the kiss, Only that he "killed" Jeremy! (Meaning she's not pissed off about the kiss.) The only reason she's not looking in his eyes(2x2 and in 2x3 clips) is that she's affraid of her feelings not that she's mad!!!

clois222222 great article,u r 100% right about every thing,i was just thinking the same thing about stefan,yes loves elena NOW,but the MAIN the ONLY REAL reason he went after elena is because she LOOKS LIKE KATHERINE,but damon never liked her because she looks like katherine or because she reminded him of her,he loves her for her for just being her self and i agree with on the jeremy thing "he WANTS TO BE A VAMPIRE" damon to jeremy:"u want TO SHUT OUT THE PAIN" as for caroline i don't think she's out of contral actually,ithink she handled being a vampire better than vikkiy,but like damon said(and stefan a greed by the way) her mother is the SHARIFE THAT HUNTS VAMPIRES AND KILL THEM,so that's y it's a very very big risk and that's y damon had to kill her or it least he tried,he tried to kill her to protcet her from being killed by her own mother,like what happend to him & stefan and their father

rokitchichi Great article! I completely agree with you! I think alot of Stelena fans beat Damon up just because they are threatened by Elena's feelings for him and the very distinct possibility that they'll end up together. Stefan is no more moral than Damon. I'm sure he's done alot of things, but here are just a few. He has eaten his own father, turned Damon, attacked Amber, shoved Elena against the wall, punched his fist into the wall mere inches from her, threatened her and the worst part is, he doesn't have the self control that Damon does around Elena and could end up actually hurting or killing her. Very romantic! Stefan likes to act superior but the bottom line is that he can be even worse than Damon. Why do Stelena's think it's hot when Stefan bites himself, forces his blood on John and then threatens him or slaps Jeremy around and treats him like he's a moron but if Damon did that Stelena's will say he's an evil monster? Double standard? Sorry Stelena lovers, it's time you faced some cold hard facts about your precious Stefan and stop taking everything out on Damon! :)

rokitchichi Damon loves Elena for Elena. Stefan loves Elena because of Katherine. Watch closely and any intelligent person will see it.

SalvatoreBros One question....can u read my mind? :p lol! That's exactly what I think about Stelena and Delena... Stelena is rushed in my opinion. I mean they are a usual couple, more like friends...Proof? A friend of mine that doesn't watch TVD and saw an episode (1x17) she thought that Stefan/Elena were BFFs and nothing more. And of course when she saw the rain scene with Damon she asked if they were together, cause it seems like they have something ;) On Stefan/Katherine thing, Stefan hasn't get over Katherine apparently. He spent 146 years thinking she's dead. Now that she's alive and back that variety changed. So....Besides, he was the one who kept a photo of here in his room, not Damon. And he never said something bad about her to Elena. He talked about her with admiration.. Who's with me?

Aubreykarew Finally!! I completely agree with this article !! Saint stefan should be fed to the dementors!! Yeah damon was tryin kill carol because he thought tat she would become unstable , damon does not ever do anything without a logical reason behind it .damon is the best

pacman22091 Stefan HAD to know Elena because of how she looked so much like Katherine what does that tell you?! Stefan is making it seem like he is amazing and all that stuff and making Damon seem like the monster just so that Elena will always pick him over Damon because he knows he will loss her to Damon. I can't take Stefan and Elena together because Stefan drives me insane like he doesn't have much of a personality. But when he gets mad like he did with John its like wow there is some anger there finally something new. Damon knows who he is and deals with it as where Stefan fights against it which will hurt him in the end. So with Katherine reappearing he seems not to care but in reality it going to affect him more then it will Damon and this is make Elena go over to Damon and away from Stefan.

Aquaa8 Please-Elena and Stefan have been together for almost 2 seasons so why would they quit now? For those saying she will get with damon-she HAS chosen-Stefan. RoseJackDawson Why I love DE is because they're real,I mean there's no couple who is always happy,that is so without epic :S I mean Jack/Rose-how much danger in their love-everything just not perfect,Allie/Noah-fighting all time,never agree with each other,Elizabeth/Mr Darcy-between hate and love,never been together till the end and at least Damon/Elena-never been together,different persons aweaking in ech other everything :)

ShayFiction Stefan and Elena are so boring. They got together within weeks of being friends and the entire time Stefan pretended to be some glorified hero. Katherine is manipulative, unpredictable and promiscuous everything Elena is Not. Stefan knows this and for those reasons he is afraid to love Katherine again, so he covers up his real feelings and loves (in his mind) the next best thing, Elena. To Damon, Elena is the Best thing. Together they are way more interesting, loving, and hell attractive.
